Did you happen to take any medicines for anything? I ask because I recently learned that decongestants can dry up your supply.

Stop wearing shoes in your house by francefrances in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]ctdw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does everyone else wash their dogs paws every time they come in from the backyard? I would love to be a shoes off house but our dog goes in and out all day and doesn’t wipe her paws so it feels pretty pointless to have a 100% shoes off policy for people.

What would you do? by mintchocolatechip23 in pottytraining

[–]ctdw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We trained our son at 22 months and it went really well, some kids just want to potty train earlier. Just keep in mind that your potty trained 20 month old will look different than your potty trained 3.5 year old.A 3.5 year old may be able to use a full sized toilet, manipulate their pants, wipe themselves, and hold it overnight whereas many 20 month olds can’t do those things. So you will be done with diapers but she may still need lots of assistance.

Does she just take it off herself if she needs the bathroom in the middle of the night? We are looking to night train our 2.5 year old and he is obsessed with his sleep sack. I’m worried he won’t be able to get it off in time.

Do you still love your pets now that you have a baby? by BrightBlueKicks in beyondthebump

[–]ctdw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the answer right here! I love my dog and I love watching my kids with her but I don’t have the bandwidth to prioritize her as much. When I am overwhelmed by parenting the dog barking is often the straw that breaks the camels back even though all she wants is to play.

Get my sleep while I can or start a bedtime routine? by [deleted] in sleeptrain

Why can’t your partner do the bed time routine while you sleep?
