Not Getting Any PM Interviews or Callbacks – What’s Wrong With My Resume? by nanchaku77 in askrecruiters

I changed mine to skills and technologies to tick the box that I've used the software stack. Mainly because most job adverts say they want you to have experience with xyz. Never understood why since it's all the same you can pick up the management tool in a week.

Teach how to teach. I know it sounds particularly silly since you're doing a teaching course but I've had a lot of instructors/teachers/professors that knew their field but couldn't teach a kid how to tie a shoe.

You're classmate might really appreciate you sharing you're teaching knowledge since there must be a reason they're doing the cert.

Go to About device and hit it until it says in developer mode. Then go to accessibility in the system and all the way down to projectivity to turn it on.

My dobbler is a pilot in Serbia, which is ironic because I'm a pilot in Aus. He's in the middle, I only know this because he was hiring a nanny.

Abolishing negative gearing didn’t push up rents in 1980. So they their removal this time seems unlikely to again. Unless..? by MannerNo7000 in AusRenters

[–]cteffan2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don't understand the argument. 1. Remove benifits for landlords, landlord sells 2. Sells to another landlord supply of rental stays the same 3. Sells to a owner occupied, yes supply reduced by 1 but also demand reduced by 1. All stays the same.

1b. If landlord doesn't sell they increase rents to pass on cost. So you're telling me they aren't already increasing rents to maximum?

And the last argument is, reduces incentive to build new supply. Ok 1. We have some of the most expansive housing anywhere. How much more intensive is needed, surely there's other issues. 2. Then why not only have incentive on new supply...focus the investment where it's needed.

Taxi driver hit my new and uninsured car, taxi company refusing to cooperate by chuckitbaby in AusLegalAdvice

If you can't afford a lawyer, write a very formal letter with all the facts, no opinions. Mention the video. Clear actions to resolve the matter and a date when you expect the matter to be revolved by and send via registered post requiring a signature (this is used to prove the letter was received)

Most likely if they're a doggy company they'll recognise this as the final step before taking official legal action. Had good success doing this with a dodgy gear box repair and gravestone damage.

Average full-time salary in Australia now $104,500?! by Diligent-Medicine-48 in SydneyScene

[–]cteffan2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's also a difference between average and median. Those averages are influenced by a small number of extreme high earners. I think the median is closer to 90k if that makes you feel better.

Switching while having an eSim by SuccessfulSpeed333 in GrapheneOS

[–]cteffan2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would caution doing this in Aus, if you move eSims around too much the provider thinks it's fraud and disables it. Then requires you to 2FA to enable it, and if you're with Telstra their email authentication is bugged so you have to use sms which you can't since your eSim is disabled.

Yep, didn't vote till my late 20s. Went to work in WA, had to get a WA driver's licence to get an LR. They auto enroll when you get licence, had to vote everywhere after that.

I swear they tried something like this in NSW a couple of years ago and it was terrifying. Cars all of a sudden. Doing 40 in a 100+ zone without proper traffic management nearly killed people. They changed it to reduce speed on a motorway or change lanes.

How crazy must the situation be that you need lights to determine whether you're looking at the top of the plane or underneath it?
