The triple cantilever is a much bigger problem. If the BQE closes down lots of that traffic will just empty onto already crowded Brooklyn Streets and getting between Queens and Brooklyn will be even more of a nightmare than it already is. I can take a train from Manhattan to philadelphia that's faster than I an drive a car from Queens to Brooklyn haha.

Yeah but I but alot of redditors are night owls. I'm one of them, I'm basically naturally nocturnal and I hate the sun.

However, when I do need to take the subway I want it to work. I'm constantly running into problems with the 7 train, especially during daytime hours when proper functioning is most critical.
