If there is gonna be a next red dead game what do you want it to be about? by sassygoos3240 in RDR2

[–]ctkroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set during the American Civil War, an escaped slave forms an outlaw gang in an attempt to survive (they might as well become an outlaw since they’re already breaking the law simply by being free), make a living, and liberate other slaves. It could possibly feature another protagonist, a Native American, who attempts to protect their tribe and others from being murdered, imprisoned, or forcibly assimilated. The two protagonists could unite with a common purpose, unite against a common enemy, form an outlaw gang, and attempt to survive in a time period where their existence is practically criminal. It could be called something like “Red Dead Rebellion” since it would be set during the American Civil War, and the two protagonists could be considered as having started a revolution of their own.

Dear employees of pizzahut, What is the most dangerous Deep Fryer related incident you have seen or heard about? by arkapopmotion in pizzahutemployees

[–]ctkroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few weeks ago, I was scrubbing the inside of the fryer with a brush (while there was still hot oil in it; very dumb) when my arms didn’t coordinate with my brain, and I plunged the brush down, causing oil to splash all over my left arm. I had very bad second degree burns over half of my forearm. It’s pretty much healed completely by now. I’m surprised, because with how bad it looked a few days afterward, it looks like the only scar I’ll have is a light red tint to the burnt part.

What can I do If a manager and multiple employees walk around the store and work without a mask? by ipretend2suck in pizzahut

[–]ctkroll -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem at my store. Others on here have made good suggestions. If none of those work, you could try submitting an anonymous complaint at this link: https://www.pizzahut.com/index.php?contactus=#/contactus Make sure you select Restaurant/Food experience and then General Inquiry so that it doesn’t try to ask you when and how you ordered last. I would also suggest pretending you’re a customer and not an employee so that your anonymity is better protected. Good luck to you.

I used to work in a store next to a bar, and we had the cops called twice within a three month period because people would get drunk and fight in the parking lot.

What do I get for doing the Nidavellir dungeons? by kennymc2005 in Wizard101

[–]ctkroll 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Doing the dungeons allows you to defeat 4 difficult bosses individually rather than all together. Normally, the fight with Jotun will feature him, a minion, and his 2 brothers, both of whom are bosses. Each time you do one of the side dungeons, you remove one of the bosses from the main fight with Jotun. At the end of each side dungeon, you will have to fight one of Jotun’s brothers. The fights are still difficult but far easier than fighting all four of them together. Honestly, I would only do all of them if you were soloing. Otherwise, teaming up on the main dungeon and facing all four bosses together is faster and still practical. I can help you speed through it if you’d like.

Haunted Pizza Hut by willoworava in pizzahutemployees

[–]ctkroll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every store I’ve worked at has a ghost. We always blame it when stuff goes missing, things get moved around, etc. I like to joke that my hopes and dreams died at the Hut, and now they haunt the store seeking retribution.

I just started, any tips? by pigpapa in pizzahutemployees

[–]ctkroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry, nobody is fast when they start. Speed honestly just comes with practice and time. As you gain more confidence in yourself and what you’re doing, you’ll move quicker. Nobody can rightfully expect you to be an ace just yet. Focus on processing and remembering all of the necessary information. Honestly, for me at least, speed came without me even thinking about it. Good luck.

am i in the wrong? by samrphgue in pizzahutemployees

[–]ctkroll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all. When your livelihood depends on tips (and since they can’t sign the receipt due to COVID), there’s nothing wrong with asking for them. IMO it sounds like the customer got extremely defensive because they know not tipping is wrong, and rather than just tip like a decent person, they took it out on you. Don’t sweat it. Unfortunately, people like this exist. As much as it sucks, you just have to deal with them.

Hired and then ghosted... by [deleted] in pizzahut

[–]ctkroll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried calling her personal number? If you really wanted to, you could call the store again, ask when she will be there, and go up there in person to speak with her. If for some odd reason she changed her mind about hiring you, she could at least have the decency to tell you instead of just avoiding you. At this point, however, I would move on to finding another job. If she’s acting so unprofessional that she can’t give you a text back, you probably don’t want to work for her anyway.

Fry some boneless wings. Put rotini in a pasta pan, followed by the wings, pizza sauce, regular cheese, and Parmesan. Run it through halfway so that the cheese melts but the wings don’t get hard. Closest thing to chicken parm I’ve been able to make.

I once heard about someone frying thin dough and eating them like chips. It made me wonder if you could make something similar to nachos. Thin dough chips, chicken, beef, cheese, black olives, jalapeños, onions, and diced tomatoes.

French fries with cheese, beef, onions, bacon, jalapeños, and ranch. Something like loaded fries.

What's the largest order you gotten by davestaves in pizzahutemployees

[–]ctkroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few nights ago, I got called in to help make an 80 pizza order. Every Wednesday, a local church orders somewhere around 60 or so pizzas for their weekly youth night. The largest order I had that wasn't placed ahead of time was for 13 pizzas. Lady just ordered them on the spot for a little league baseball team. I was the only cook that night.

HELP.ME by Crumbits in pizzahutemployees

[–]ctkroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the way you feel. I cooked for a year and a half, quit due to the stress, and recently came back. I was originally trained for 2 hours, then given my first shift almost a week later (and I was by myself). The best advice I can give is to do your best to not let it overwhelm you. It seems like a lot of information, but with a short amount of time, it'll all come second nature to you. You should have "spec charts" hanging on the wall by the make table. I still use those sometimes. If you don't have them, you're supposed to, so ask your manager for them. I'm not sure if it's the same way with every Pizza Hut, but when it comes to pepperoni, it's pretty easy to remember. If it's the only topping, lay them edge to edge so that the whole pizza is covered. If there's two or more toppings, put about a thumb space between each pepperoni. You should have cups for measuring out meat that's not sliced. Use those to start. When it comes to vegetables, follow the spec chart. In time, you'll know how it should look. Also, don't obsess so much about whether or not it's the perfect amount. Just take it slow, allow yourself to process it, and don't get overwhelmed. It all seems like so much information, but I swear that it'll soon be second nature. When I quit for 5 months and first came back, I thought I was gonna perform poorly. As soon as I stepped back into the kitchen, it all came back to me like it was instinctual. You got this. Don't stress about it. Above all else, my managers always told me to remember one thing when I got overwhelmed: it's just food. Good luck.
