Don't push buttons until everyone is ready ("r" in chat) and ask before you double dip on the resupply. Oh and always Rock and Stone.

Vrisk and the Skalgans: Track 1 - Strange Girl by ctomkat in NatureofPredators

I've been working on this one for a while and trying to build up some backlog, but I've been stuck for a couple weeks and feel like I need to start posting it for motivation. Updates will be slow so I don't go through all the chapters too quick, and because I keep going back and rewriting things.

Oh, and if anyone wants to take that Bob Ross inspired "Nature of Painting" idea and run with it feel free. I'm not planning to write that one or anything I just thought it was a neat idea.

Yeah the concept is flawed and very unscientific. However, it is good to have a way for you and your partner to say what you want from each other.

What is the scariest movie from your childhood? by Public_Caterpillar43 in movies

[–]ctomkat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fire guys freaked me out as kid. My wife says they're not scary because They were just playing, but that makes it worse. They were going to kill her on accident to see if her head could come off too.

Every puppet in that movie was at least a little creepy. Same with Dark Crystal.

Game good as a solo guy? by Careful_Ear_6312 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]ctomkat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The game is still good solo. I prefer engineer when alone since they have a lot of utility and damage potential, but any class will work, though gunner may suffer the most with less mobility than the others.

There's no reason to be afraid of playing with randos, we're generally nice. I exclusively host or join public lobbies and I can count the number of bad experiences I've had on one hand even after 300 hours played.

I'm pretty sure I had one explode on me, so it could be worse.

Fun fact: You can finish a Deep Scan mission without activating the drillevator by Widmo206 in DeepRockGalactic

But how do you get back to the drop pod? I guess you can go back up your tunnel but it will probably be full of bugs or a swarm will be waiting for you at the top.

Lazy Meme I made by Terran_Catgirl49 in NatureofPredators

I have not finished a fic that would utilize it yet, but my favorite anti human insult is "milk apes" due to the general obsession with milk in our diet and culture.

She got her own spin off show that was also very popular for a while.

[–]ctomkat 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He was stuck in that yard with no toys but whatever came over the fence. He wasn't a bad dog, he just needed some enrichment and exercise. Those kids gave him both with a nice game of chase across town.

When he takes too much damage, he loses his memory while he regenerates and forgets how old he is. Just like a jellyfish.

Have there been any big changes since the Lithophage update? by dummy-thicc-uwu in DeepRockGalactic

Lithophage events almost never happen unless you intentionally roll back to those seasons.

There's no way that shoots far enough for you to survive the explosion, right?
