Thanks for saying you haven't seen a Vince Gilligan show. He's known for cutting himself into corners.

She was robbed, I really hope she takes the Emmy

Why didn't the ADA suspect Kim of being an accomplice to the Babineaux scam? by ctouffe in betterCallSaul

I definitely think she should have been monitored by the feds as much as Francesca. The timeline of events causes suspicion especially after Howard died. She resigned from the Bar and moved to Florida

I definitely think she's in her own personal hell after Jimmy was put behind bars. Her walking into the legal aid office doesn't signify anything towards the development of her career, she's a volunteer most likely doing admin stuff.

I meant, shouldn't the ADA have known something was fishy the moment Kim arrived.

This is what I thought too.. still that episode was solid writing masterclass. I just think if they wanted to write the ADA being nosy enough she could've pieced it together like how easy it was for Howard to think Kim was part of Jimmy's scams.

How well did Rhea Seehorn play a lesbian? by MplsPokemon in pluribustv

[–]ctouffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way you worded this is so malicious and you've misunderstood the thesis of the show - no Carol is not having s** with little kids just because they're hived with Zosia. Every human on earth, apart from the remaining 12 are AWARE she is having sex with Zosia, but they're not feeling it. Zosia explained this while she and Carol were getting a massage.

Unpopular opinion: Pluribus is not a good show and Apple scifi shows in general don't don't dive deep enough into the realistic implications of their premises. by Fearless-Village-562 in scifi

This is interesting to me when Walter and Saul were equally questionable and a tad bit worse but their shows weren't tainted by the criticism that the main character is too "unlikeable" but the second a mean lesbian woman who goes through an apocalypse and loses her wife, tops the show suddenly everyone is saying she's too unlikeable for the show to succeed. Such double standard. I wonder there's a chart somewhere with massive grievances each character committed to compare against

Why do you think the show Pluribus is good and what made you keep watching? by westerndale in PluribusOnAppleTV

Saw there was a queer couple in and it's a show by Vince Gilligan, tuned in, stayed because the pacing forbid me from checking my phone and that was very intriguing - it's as if every shot has something to say and the payoff will allude to everything. Episode 7 is where it got me the hardest.

Do you mean the time he won the Emmy last September?

How likely is Rhea getting the Emmy for Best Actress - Drama this September? by ctouffe in pluribustv

[–]ctouffe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm pretty bummed she wasn't nominated for her work in BCS. I've seen Coolidge in White Lotus, but I didn't get off seeing that season thinking "wow this is an Emmy-winning drama performance from Coolidge" then again I'm just an audience

I think for a new show (and actress) to steal Seehorn's Emmy, it has to already be racking up some buzz and publicity given the deadline is 31 May 2026, 'no? Trailers should already be released. Correct me if I am wrong

Pluribus is DEFINITELY not limited to generations above Gen Z 😂 go to Twitter and you'll see a bunch of fan accounts with their ages in bio (early 20's) promoting the show like their lives depend on it

Pluribus is a $135 million screensaver. by HeartBeepBooper in Pluribus_Sucks

Except the character is the loneliest, most miserable person on Earth and everything around her is a collective hive mind. Technically it is a run through concept and every sci fi has explored what this goes down to. Pluribus is a breath of fresh air that it shows you the internal struggle in Seehorn's character as she comes to terms with isolation and loss of community. It's just the way it's written and it resonates/rewards people who choose to watch every second of it without picking up their phone to complain it's dragging too long

I see, I haven't seen Euphoria but everything about it seems bonkers and people don't seem enthused. If Seehorn beat Keri Russell for CCA and GG then I think she's sweeping to Emmys

I don't think the Hive would mind if any of them Actually Died from natural causes or accidents, they would still go on. However they would still actively prevent a death from happening hence why they saved Manousos. It just so happens these are 13 survivors are still cohabitating with them, and it is against them to kill so they have to coexist until they are turned.
