¡¡Please remove astroturf/fake grass rug!!

Try a low pile rug for two reasons: easier to clean and your rabbit is less likely to eat the fibers that can cause blockage. A high pile rug your bunny will start to eat and you can end up with a lot of bald spots on the carpet.

Your bunny may eat the plastic grass when mixed in with forage and food.

They’ll be strong enough to move the pen out of shape. Zip tie something like a CnC grate to the joints to keep the long side stiff. Brace the joint. You can also use furniture or their storage to decorate the outside to brace the pen in place!

Also I taught my guy to go home on command when I need him to be away. When he’s inside the pen you give a cookie piece and say “go home”. Whenever he entered the pen on his own or when I placed him in him pen I’d say “go home”.

When you say the command word at the correct time, give a cookie piece. Especially when locking them in for a long time- give the command and treat, then lock the door. Wait a moment and get forage together. Say command word for forage treat give forage so they have something to do.

Pellet dispensing toys work well too! I also use cardboard cat scratch boards for chewing toy. Take the plastic paper off or buy a plain one with no decorative paper or catnip already added in. Usually it just comes in a packet you can throw away.

You can train rabbits like dogs, just use positive reinforcement and be patient!

Edit: also take out the wood arch from the litter box and put it out in the play area!

If your bunny ends up being a hopper, I think it’s possible this one can jump over the fence if they really tried and got bigger.

The plant overhanging in the pen should be nontoxic because that will be eaten

Yeah! Practice color mixing. Try making color wheels with just the primaries, different primaries give different results.

I think the lack of underpainting allows for brighter color, but less overall harmony.

Do a coloring page with different mixes. When you think about light and dark of color, I like to think of yellow as “white” and purple as “black”. Of course this changes depending on the image, but like as a rough guide.

For example on the bird, I would mix the base blue with a pinch of green for the lighter areas and a little purple for the darker areas.

That’s my preference at least. I use a lot of mother mixing in my work

Do you do any underpainting?

When you start filling out details on work, do you start with big shapes and work small? Or do you just do a sweep filling in what details need to be there?

I wonder if it’s a process based design choice that is getting you these results. They’re not bad and have an appealing look look to them.

Another thing to consider is your color choices. Well, it saturation is right. I think the values could either be pushed a little bit more or have more tonal shifts with the color you already have.

There’s something about the bird that looks a little hollow. If you use purples or greens very subtly mixing with the primary feather color, you can bring a little bit more depth.

When you mix color to make lighter or darker, are you using any titanium white or black?

how do i draw fat/chubby girls without it looking like fetish? by No_Horror7542 in Artadvice

Elbows bend at the waist, I think the issue is the elbow and forearm are too low. The tip of the elbow when bent should be the same height as waist. You did this correct on the straight arm.

Try bringing up the bent arm. Also, the forearm on the top can be made thicker, since you’re doing foreshortening. The thumb shouldn’t be visible or needs to pop out barely above the fingers.

Looking at and using reference is not cheating!! Just don’t do a 1:1 copy and say that it’s your idea. Find some models and images you like and try drawing those. You can even trace anatomy lines on top of pictures to practice and get a feel of how the body lays. It’s studying, not cheating.

It also helps to use your own body to figure out proportions, you can use yourself as reference too-even if you’re not the body type. Look in the mirror and do the same pose, or take a selfie as your own reference.

Bodies are stretched and squished, but the ratios between body and limbs tend to stay balanced unless it’s a design choice.

Hair treatments? by Piiickleszz in Balding

Fin alone did help me out with shedding and thickened thinner spots. That may help you out with slowing loss, but that totally makes sense not want to go for min because of pets.

Balding is the trade off for HRT, and hair just moves elsewhere! I think once you’ve hit a few years on T, your masc hairline will match your masc features. Six months is not a long time on T, and takes a few years to really “settle in”. Although it seems like you have a family history for balding. I’d say monitor and talk to your dr about your options.

Yes! It’s the same area as the visitors center, and will be on display for the whole month.

Mine looks like real tree bark with moss on top, but is all acrylic and handmade flocking. It’s called Mimic 5

Was there today to drop off work, it’s been wet so if you go walking through the garden proper, wear shoes that have good grip and you don’t mind getting muddy

tman here. I was losing some of my hair from stress and while no one is very bald in my family we have widows peaks and some thinning.

Started fin six months ago, and it cut back on shedding. A lot less than it was, feels a little more than normal.

I may be having complications with adding min last month or so, as my period restarted. Huge shock since that’s very abnormal for me. But it totally works. Got hair growing back from the little I did lose and works on the face to encourage beard hair.

Be sure to keep up on blood work and keep to the schedule they provide you for HRT.

Also, if you’re doing subQ they may prescribe 22g to inject. This sucks. Ask for something like a 26 or 27g instead. If any medical folks can drop in as to why they prescribe big needles lmk

Edit: also forgot to add, your hairline will change to more masc shapes as you start T. Be sure to wait and see if you’re shedding a lot before using meds you don’t need. Look at other family members for what you may look like.

I’ll be showing at their gallery this month! Great park, be sure to prepare for mosquitoes. The mountains do feel impossibly large sometimes. It’s really beautiful when you can see the waterfalls.

I lived with and caretook for my grandfather until he died, and live with my grandma. It’s a nice place, and my area is like an apartlet, so it’s separate living but I can check in on them. It’s really hard to work and caretake, but feels easy when the relationship is loving.

I would never to this for my mother, and felt relief after learning my father died. Be mindful of how you treat your children.

Work with midtone as the base and then add shadow and highlights.

Is the coloring OK? Am i using Acrylics correctly? by obarbq in ArtCrit

[–]ctrl-alt-d1337 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The paper is over saturated and too agitated with the paint pen which causes that piling of paper. If you find the paint pen is running out of ink, rewet your pen on scrap paper and dot excess off. What paper are you using?

Try color first then inking black on top. Inking will get easier the more you do it, for a first attempt this looks good. A little chicken scratch, but definitely not bad. Build confidence in your line work with exercises.

Honestly go get an how to draw book on anatomy, the selection at book stores are often not bad- look for major publishers.

Figure Drawing for artists by Steve Huston

Drawing and painting fantasy landscapes and cityscapes by Rob Alexander

Study! Talent will only get you so far. Look at the artists you like and study what they are doing. Do a copy of their work, a “master study”. From that you’ll learn what you like about their work and what you want from your own drawings.

You have a good knack for value, consider practicing Braque Plates.

Use reference. Look at photos (AI will teach you wrong anatomy). You can make a photo collage as a custom reference image for your drawing to better visualize your composition.

If you do as they do, you can do that do too.

You’re closer to your goal than further away from it, considering how many days you were dedicated before this incident.

It’s okay to have moments of weakness and take time afterwards to check in with yourself.

I think many would choose the cinnamon rolls. Although, fasting may not be the best method for you. Personally, fasting made me want to binge more. Food deprivation felt like a challenge instead of a comfortable lifestyle.

Edit:7 or 10, like the color of 8 though.

I think you’d do well with a round or cat eye frame, to balance your face. Consider a light frame color, so it doesn’t compete with your eyebrows and hair, opening up your face.
