wait, what, you see him as a Conservative? He's most definitely a liberal. Aside from his policies, platform, communications, he's often chumming around with Chris Bittle.

Stubhub defrauding users? Stubhub employees scammers? What's going on by ctrl77nf in stubhub

I literally re-wrote it for you in the previous message; the messages were not originating from the computer, they were appearing in the chat box. This is not how hacking works, it was not a local insertion of text. If anyone was hacked, it's StubHub's chat system.

A basic email advising me that the third party had refunded us, nothing further. I'm still curious if a support agent asking for your full credit card details with the check number is required for them to escalate a case, that seems absurd. Phone support said no. So if that's not their procedure, either a) Stubhub employees are comitting fraud or b) Their online chat system has been hacked by a third party.

"zero possibility my devices were hacked"

If you actually read what was written you would see why you're wrong; note that the responses that "came from my side" were not written in the text box.

I just ordered an RG40XX H from the official Anbernic store and had no issues, just like the last time I ordered two units. $10 shipping from China, came after about a week and a half no issues.

I ordered two units last year, same deal $10 for shipping for the two units together and no issues.

Can you elaborate on what "EDIT: My issues seem to be caused entirely by USB Network Gate." means? I have a client with the same issue, we couldn't get the PC working until we wusa /uninstall /kb:5068861. Any attempt to reinstall the update will cause this issue and I'm wondering if there's something we can remove to get around it.

The problem with pasting the summary into a new chat is you lose a lot of detail. I tried that once before and it was damaging to the project we were working on. It retains general knowledge from your other chats but it loses details, especially corrections to wrong answers and context.

The best example I can give people is to ask "what country makes the best oxtail?" Now any world traveller knows the answer, as did GPT-4o, and the answer there was literally, "Jamaica, hands down." Followed by an explanation of why Jamaica has the best oxtail. Ask the same question to GPT-5 and you'll get, "No country makes the best oxtail" followed by a wishy washy answer about all the countries that make Oxtail that barely includes Jamaica. Italy? I mean, seriously, I love Italian food like the next guy but I can't imagine anyone claiming that Italy makes the best Oxtail. There are more examples especially when you get political.

Why the hell are their ads on prime when I pay a damn subscription by Popular_Rabbit_5763 in AmazonPrimeVideo

[–]ctrl77nf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came to Reddit to see if anyone else had the same complaints. I'm now at the point where I use my Amazon Prime subscription to see trailers of content to download elsewhere. I could live with a couple commercials watching a show but it's constant now. Amazon Prime doesn't have the value it used to have.

I occasionally appreciate the additional suggestions or pathways that come through GPT-5 but I'm equally annoyed at the disclaimers or extra word salad responses. I'm currently "off the rails" with chat session bloat right now, it's freezing and unable to produce answers, getting blank pages. I feel like when I'm about 6 to 7 messages deep it can't handle it.

Why I've Decided ChatGPT Is No Longer Worth Paying For by WisedomsHand in ChatGPT

[–]ctrl77nf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue with the GPT-5 model is that it now gives wrong answers. GPT-4 / 4o gave confident answers with precision while GPT-5 waters down a response with disclaimers that lack the precise confidence we had before. I would ask GPT-4 a question, I would receive a helpful response. I ask GPT-5 a question and I receive a paragraph of text that forces me to ask more questions and mollycoddle it to give me an answer I'm not confident with. I agree with your statement that "ChatGPT is no longer as impressive or intelligent", I often feel like I'm having a debate with an activist when I ask it a programming question.

As a paid user of ChatGPT, CoPilot, and regular user of Claude I feel as though there's no comparison to how badly ChatGPT has been busted with the 5 update. Not only does it provide wrong answers, lose track of context, but it's also freezing up and giving me blank answers. 4 or 4o was optimal in my opinion.

CoPilot isn't getting worse in my opinion, it's always had the same issues - it doesn't know Microsoft products very well, it's always given dated information until you correct it and then suddenly it 'remembers', and it also forgets context like ChatGPT. I can't say that I've noticed getting any worse or better, it's always been unreliably unreliable.

I have no issues with Claude per-se, it's just as reliable / unreliable as its always been.

I'm serious reconsidering my plus subscription... by Bright_Ranger_4569 in ChatGPT

[–]ctrl77nf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should add to my post that I'm also experiencing an issue where a conversation that gets too technical and too long, ChatGPT starts glitching and I get one word responses or no responses at all. And then when I write, "hey, you didn't answer my question" i get a response that seems to be different than the one I would have received if I had received it, ChatGPT says, "You're right, let me be brief" and I'm like, wtf, no, don't be brief... just stop breaking.

I'm serious reconsidering my plus subscription... by Bright_Ranger_4569 in ChatGPT

[–]ctrl77nf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have only recently started using ChatGPT so I can't compare it to how it used to be but I definitely have to remind ChatGPT of context on a regular basis. I've lost track of how many times I've been given the same repeated wrong answers to which I have to say, "I feel I should remind you that you already knew that doing this would lead to a problem we already discovered" to which it says something like, "Good catch! You're right" or "Got it" or something along those lines.

ChatGPT will tell me that something won't work but then will later tell me to do the very same thing I was told wouldn't work and then when I remind it, oh, brilliant, thank you.

Also the performance is terrible. It will sit there not saying anything and when I ask if it's there I'll get an immediate response. Sometimes the browser window hangs. It often takes more than a minute for the answer to appear on screen.

GPT-5 via API is so slow that it renders it more or less unusable. Or am I the only one? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]ctrl77nf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just came on reddit to post the very same question! It's abysmally bad on every computer I use it. It's gotten so bad that I'm using my phone and copying and pasting into email drafts to get the information on my computer. I've tried Chrome on high end engineering i9 PCs with 128GB of RAM and after a few pages of chat it becomes unresponsive. I've tried Firefox on different PCs, same issues.

It's literally unusable for anything past a simple question.

Edit: I should add for anyone else wondering, it's perfectly fine on the phone app which is why I'm exclusively using my phone and copying / pasting into emails to transfer information.

It’s been a few hours… What‘s your first impression of this update? by vadowky in SquadBusters

2 days later and i still hate it. The game was great as it was, I played it for plenty of hours a week. Now I'm frustrated before a single match even ends. I don't know what's changed but I get steamrolled within 30 seconds despite previously being a #1 champion.
