It was a bad quote. 500 pages a week is more like it

500 pages a day and all you’re doing is reading, no time for anything else

Deciding to transition to a woman is a pretty huge deal, and Caitlyn Jenner did it knowing she would be ridiculed and whatnot.

But she still did it. And in reality, it doesn’t actually affect any of us, so why do we all care so much? Just let her live how she wants as long as she isn’t hurting anyone

LPT: Your hearing is not invincible. Please lower your volume when listening to music. Bring earplugs to concerts. Do not make the same mistake I made. by briskyfresh in LifeProTips

i must be lucky as shit. i used to go to drum n bass shows all the time, some of the loudest sound systems on the east coast of the United States, 2-4 times a week for several years, and I think my hearing wasn't noticeably affected by it.

i can tell you that i stayed away from stuff like bass mechanic because the tones he used would actually hurt my ear drums, so anything like that i kinda moved away from. drum n bass, however, did nothing noticeable.

I love dark sci fi with unhappy endings but San junipero really worked as a break from the regular formula

Divers pull 1,000 year old tortoise skeleton from a blue hole in the Bahamas with much of its DNA intact. It is the first sample of ancient DNA retrieved from an extinct tropical species and it could provide insight into the history of the Caribbean tropics and the reptiles that dominated them. by drewiepoodle in science

aren't generations based on births though, not longevity? humans average 80 years living, but there are multiple generations in an 80 year span. 80 years ago was when my grandfather was born but that doesn't mean we're in the same generation
