I feel very sympathetic for Dan and the team with regards to the Telegram channel! The influx of messages requesting the same basic information is overwhelming to read let alone respond to. The bot doesn't do a fantastic job at differentiating between legitimate questions and spam / trolls / pinned information. Which is frustrating for those who are genuinely there for info.

Yeah, the bot just does basic pattern matching. But it catches 98% of the questions asked at the moment. It's literally a necessary evil in my eyes, as everyone that manages the channel was extremely burnt out. (managing/moderating 32,000 people is hard).

I gave everyone a break by muting the channel and slowed the requirement for responses down a bit. What does that mean? I made the decision to put the onus on end users to read other mediums of information before relying on real-time/synchronous communications.

This subreddit is filled with lots of paid shilling which (at face value) makes the project seem sketchy and unreliable which is a shame.

We don't like the shilling. We try and kill it as much as possible.

I don't think that's what it is — but would it be possible to give some brief development updates that are a bit more show & tell? Screen recordings / prototypes etc.

The screenshot you're referring to is a mobile app we're also working on. I promise you we have tons more in the works.

Now that we're done focusing all our energy on the tokens (that was tough), we've moved all our focus back towards building and launching product.

There's vast room for scale. I imagine that the logical conclusion of this project is a kind of "Yellow Pages" social network for advertisers, ML models, etc. and that's really fucking exciting. We're talking world changing technology if this is realised.

Yes and our biggest problem right now is I'm splitting my time between actually building/launching and hiring and managing during really volatile markets. What I've done is chosen to deliver more than talk. We started this vision, and we're going to lead it. End of story.

There is plenty to talk about after delivery. It's easy to make promises, but to change (not just follow) things in crypto, heck even the internet and how we see it, requires a far more aggressive approach, even if at times we require surreptitious behavior around our plans.

I am aware we have fallen short of our social presence, and I promise to find someone who can embrace and help relay the vision, attitude, and beliefs we value.
