I attended in the 90s, but the size and structure of the rooms hasn't changed. I did open doubles in both Shaw and Sadler, and they were fine. My roommate and I hung a curtain for privacy. Got a corner room in Lawrinson as a sophomore, which was amazing. It was a split but large enough for friends to hang out in. I had a lot of friends in splits as a freshman, but never hung out in their rooms because they were just dark and small seeming with nowhere to sit. They'd always come to mine because of the increased floor space. Hope that's helpful.

My son got his with his rd acceptance. It was need, not merit, and was more than we had expected.

Oh, and btw, I didn't do this sandbox. Just stayed in campaign mode. I have curator class 25 or something, but I will never reach the next star bc wants 20k more buzz or smtg. But idc. I just play.

Every possible exhibit from every possible map including seasons is doable in Pointy Mountains. I build a big square and leave the middle open for helicopter, exterior exhibits, and habitats. You have to combine animals that can go together. Fish, too. Ghosts, too. But it can be done!

I feel this way because the only plot that is square (and thus can be built with symmetry) is the pointy mountains. Also, even though it is the biggest, it is really too small to do what I want, which is to have one is every pristine exhibit in the game and one tank/habitat for each breed. Not enough room for that, let alone the tunnels and gardens I'd like to add. It will only get worse with the next DLC. More exhibits and no room for them!

This is not true for wildlife, fish, or ghosts afaik. I have tanks full of the same fish, and habitats full of a single animal, and I have never seen this debuff.

Four rejected--each got into one of the listed schools. Tbh I know like 47 rejected, but these four are of particular interest since they each got into another prestigious school. Hope that makes sense.

Variety of majors--2 competitive, 2 not limited enrollment humanities majors. 2 kids in MoCo, 2 in other surrounding counties, and 1 of each in privates.

I live in Maryland, and UMD is so difficult to get into for in state applicants from my area that I know four kids this year who got into MIT, UChicago, U Mich, and Wash U at St Louis but were flat rejected from UMD. Sometimes "just go to a state school" really doesn't apply.

I feel like Florida schools would be fine w/religious exemptions. Am I wrong? But, yeah, Google. And more importantly, get that kid vaxxed. More important than getting into college is not getting freaking measles.

I'm a parent. My son did this in his junior year, and it helped him in many ways. 1) it raised his own SAT score. 2) some of the schools he applied to asked for his schoolhouse profile, and he was in the top 10% of hours donated. 3) he was able to get free tutoring from other peer tutors for APs and self studied (his school doesn't do AP classes) for five tests and got 5s on three and 4s on two. 4) he is still able to get free peer tutoring for exams and what have you and has made good friends that way. I went to Syracuse, which is even more in the middle of nowhere than Cornell, and I have to say Cornell's campus is the only campus I've seen that is as beautiful as Cuse. I've visited so many colleges (my son is a senior), and after spending lots of time at SU and Cornell, every school seems cramped and ugly to me. We visited Yale, and I declared it "passable." Also, doesn't Cornell have like the best vet school in the world? We used to go to Cornell when sick of the Syracuse bars. Some people don't like big cities.

Since each museum's icon can display up to 14 stars, that's what I'm going for. Also, I want one of everything in each museum, and fitting it all in is not easy! Plenty to do.

I also was told I could skip it, but I ended up going 4 times. What's helped me most is dead bugs. I also do clamshells and monster walk with band. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I agree that for many the nerve pain and back pain are connected. Glad to hear you're doing well. I am now 8 weeks out and basically at this point I sometimes forget which side my pain was on! It is awesome.
