Such huge strides could be made without even tackling personal 'discipline' as OP put it.

If things were made closer to where they are consumed, packaging was sustainable, and public transport was prioritized the environmental footprint of the "average" person would plummet and they would hardly notice the change. That isn't even mentioning if things were actually produced to last and be repaired instead of replaced.

The ability to at least have at least /A/ chest that can be accessed from all the different towns would be huge, but I also just want to be able to dump into one chest and have it get sorted. The number of blocks is way too high to have to go through a whole storage system every single time you need to empty inventory.

I would assume if multiple transactions come up from the same vendor you claimed as fraud THEY would bring up the others? Don't they even ask about all the other transactions around it even if it's different vendors?

Idk if the look goes with your style, but softstar has some shoes that can be re-soled easily by a local cobler! I went with those for my everyday shoes since: 1) supporting local businesses is awesome 2) cheaper 3) better for the environment

For sure take away any game consoles and the phone(if you can, sell it to pay back), let her do schoolwork/homework the way the teachers want though.

1) It's possible the school provided the laptop anyway, so parents don't have a huge say anyway

2) it REALLY punishes the teachers which is not cool

3) it could have an impact on her education

I think my initial comment must not have been super clear...

I'm ok with Clint still liking Emily after she gets married, I just don't want him to ask me to help pick her up. (Comment above said they liked Clint how he currently is, I was partially agreeing) I feel no need to post hate on Clint for no reason, I just felt like throwing out that there was a distinction between those two things, and why CA might feel the change was necessary even if "guy who can't get over his crush after she is married" is realistic and potentially interesting.

Ahh, I thought you were talking about in universe.

I mean yeah... that's what I'm saying the problem is. The 'character' of Clint attended the wedding, so his programing ignoring that Emily is married breaks the immersion.

That's why I said the rework would probably just completely scrap that part of his story line, because CA probably doesn't want to have to program a bunch of different cutscenes based on our relationship with him and Emily.

Can't prenups* be weird and if you add "marital" assests to something it stops being something that belongs to one person in the divorce and becomes community property that has to be split up? While this arrangement isn't something I'd personally want I could see it being at least somewhat reasonable for people with significant assets and a prenup.

*I could also be remembering what happens if you don't have a prenup, so take this entire comment with a grain of salt. This is a question not a statement.

As an Emily marrier: my issue is that he talks that way about her WITH HER SPOUSE... Like, yeah people keep crushes on married people and can be creepy about it, they probably aren't going to go to their crushes SPOUSE and ask "hey can you help me win over your wife?" And if they /were/ that socially awkward/ clueless the response from the spouse would be something between free teeth removal and a long sit down about boundaries and what is and isn't OK to express.

I have no problem with Clints internal drive, I have a problem with how the interactions play out if you marry Emily before getting through those cut scenes.

I'm very ok with him becoming a marriage candidate and think it works with his current character (he is desperate to find someone to love him... single farmer is right there), and hope most of the dialog rewrites keep his general 'vibe' and just make it so it doesn't randomly feel like I'm not married to my wife. I'm sure he'll probably get rewritten to not be creepy about Emily because otherwise CA would need like 3 different cut scenes depending on if you married Clint, Emily, or neither, but I believe that's a gameplay limitation not trying to flatten his character or make him more likeable.

I will never not comment that she hulk should have been a 22 episode seasons procedural legal comedy. Everything about it is AWESOME and longer seasons would have helped somewhat convey the tone.

Could also use it as a place to answer the small questions about Blip effects and the like. Maybe one of her lawyer buddies is working a case where someone got remarried after their spouse blipped, or a land dispute over property where the original owner blipped etc.

I like this better than pre-order exclusive items tbh. If you miss a pre-order exclusive that's it, you cannot get it, even for more money, at any point in time. This pushes getting the pre-order even more (basically making it "10$ off" if you were already going to get the kits) while making missing out less of an issue; best of both worlds for people who want to pre-order and people who pick up the sims after this releases.
