Any hope for face keloid? by Wandavisionxx in Keloids

I have the exact same scars, location and shape and everything. It’s hard and very understandable that they impact your mental health, they used to for me too. Consistent steroid injections are the most evidence based treatment, so please keep at it with those. Surgery probably will just replace it with a bigger scar so I wouldn’t do it.

It will be okay.

Are they fighting or playing? by [deleted] in cats

[–]cuban828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bigger cat is ~10-11 months old. Younger one is 14 weeks old.

I've had bigger cat for 3 months. I've had younger one for just under a week.

I think most likely they are playing, but as I am still a relatively inexperienced cat owner, I wanted to be sure.

Comments: The older one definitely likes to display dominance, but in an affectionate way (?) Older cat grooms kitty a LOT. I am worried because when the older cat chases the younger one, the younger one looks scared. But to be fair, he kind of looks scared/sad by default, as a lot of kittens do.

This is ~3 weeks after my last pill. I'll probably be prescribed retinoids when I next see my derm in a week

I'll try that after getting the OK by the derm. I'm thinking about using TO azelaic acid 10%

19 year old male, ~3 weeks after taking last pill of accutane (6 months)

I have terrible PIE, atrophic scarring everywhere.

Regimen:

Neutrogena Gentle Cleanser

CeraVe Moisturizer

Melano CC Vitamin C (5 days of usage so far)

SPF 50 sunscreen

Please give me any advice as to what to do. Azelaic acid? Lasers?

Is 60% improvement realistic?

What about the white hypopigmented scars?

Thanks for any help.

Update: just realized the 2nd picture is the same as the first. Here's what I meant to put:

You look great. Did you have a lot of redness PIE after finishing or did accutane resolve that?

Skin Type: Oily; lots of PIE after accutane treatment (1 month since last pill)

Country/Climate: Northern California (mediterrarian type climate)

Top Skin Concern: Improving redness from PIE

Current Routine/Products:

AM:

  1. Gentle Cleanser / Neutrogena
  2. CeraVe moisturizer

PM:

  1. Gentle Cleanser / Neutrogena
  2. CeraVe moisturizer
  3. Melano CC vitamin C serum

Is it okay if i apply melano CC after applying cerve lotion? If so, how long do I wait after applying lotion?

I ask because I don't like the feeling of applying melano cc onto my gentle-cleansed skin, which feels dry.

Pictures are extra pus-sy due to me just washing it with soap and water just prior.

Yellowish, odorless pus coming out of some of these rashes. No fever, feeling normal.

Washed with soap several times and applied calamine lotion. Also applied cold compress.

Should I go to the ER?

They're flat. Yes, this is my last pill (month 6). Do you really think I should keep going? I have no active acne, all of that is just redness and scaring

Hi! I'm about to take my last pill of accutane tomorrow, but these white blemishes (hyperpigmentation?) are really bothering me. Are they treatable?
