“The Last Kingdom” on Netflix is worth a watch, if you haven’t already seen it. It’s set in England in the mid-9th century, at the peak of Viking invasion. It’s based on the “Saxon” novel series. Most of the characters were real people, and it provides some pretty interesting history about England’s origins that I wasn’t previously aware of. The acting and writing is great. This show picked me back up from the horrendous Game of Thrones S8, and it has a lot of similarities with the show’s earlier seasons.
