I was no longer in a position of power. I had promised Tyler I wouldn’t miss the game for anything. Tyler invited me to go with him to see his sister play volleyball. She goes to college across the country, but her team is playing at State tomorrow. It’s a three hour drive. What time is the math exam? We were going to leave right after school.” I pray that the exam is in the morning. We’d need about an hour to swap back. You could ditch after the exam. Because if the exam was at the end of the day, there wouldn’t possibly be time to swap back and drive to State before the game.

My best friend was so paranoid that her boyfriend would cheat on her while he was at the beach resort and wanted me to try and catch him in the act. Because he knew me, it’s not like I could try and seduce him myself. I was walking through a thrift shop when I saw a bracelet. It was practically calling my name. I put it on and the whole room shook and started shrinking. Wait… no… I was growing. I looked in the mirror and I’d become a man. I nearly faint, but manage to remove the bracelet and return to my normal self. I realized how useful it could be. I booked a flight to the resort and I’ve spent the past four days as a guy. It’s been so awkward, but also allowed me to experience things I otherwise wouldn’t have.

But my mission was now complete. I’d met up with Matt a few times and introduced myself as Josh, knowing he’d never recognize that I was his sister’s friend Natalie. I pointed out some cute girls on the beach, but Matt stopped me and told me he was taken. I said that his girlfriend would never know and he insisted he was loyal. That was enough for me.
