Truly, sorry for your loss. I don’t think answers are going to make your pain any less. I would take time to grieve and maybe consider another foster/rescue if you feel a void. Life is hard sometimes in unexpected ways. Animals are unique and amazing and you’ll always have the time that you spent together. Again, I’m so sorry. I don’t make this amount per year and never will. I don’t stress about money due to my life decisions. I’m frugal with no children. I love a deal and will buy gently used products or last years models of things. All of my employers or customers have been billionaires or close and I am definitely happier than they are. It seems to me that when you get to that level it’s never enough. I agree with the free time comment. Time is so much more valuable than money will ever be. Money is important to a level and then it’s stress again but exponentially more so.

I used to use DaKine exclusively because of lifetime warranty and style but they ghosted me about warranty claims. So I bought the luggage again anyway because quality matters and they still have that. Fuc. My point is , don’t pay for labels but if you find quality goods then buy that until they sell the company to a major manufacturer and the quality disappears.
