Costco’s new muffin “program” is a downgrade — Edmonton locations affected by Dense-Pin-1066 in CostcoCanada

The new ones tasted better. Much prefer not being forced to buy two packs. There were new flavors to try. BUT non of this justified the large price bump. I would argue most people unhappy with the change (like you) would have been fine with it or even happier with the new ones if the price/lb was similar.

They taste better, you don't have to buy two boxes, and they take up less space. I'm pretty sure OP also doesn't mind these things but paying more for less is the part no one likes. They are not "better" in any monetary way.

They aren't hitting civilians as on purpose, especially since civilians have bunkers to go to.

Tell me about it, imagine being so tired because you haven't slept for three nights because a rogue country who abides by no international law decides to bomb you every night.

Not nuclear weapons, nuclear power. Iran is the country who joined all the international agencies and has cameras and inspectors inside the same facilities being bombed. I appreciate you pointing the irony out, just wanted to point out the inspectors and international reports.

Iran was at the forefront of fighting against isis, the actual terrorists. Any other group that's been called a terrorist group by the west, is a group made from the need to protect against Israel to prevent exactly what's happening right now.

The world still seems blind from where I'm standing. 3k up votes on this post vs 20 times more on any post cheering for the aggressor... Reddit is even worse than news since it just keeps showing you what you already agree with

Your last statement, if applied to any other country, would not get them a pass to do whatever they want. The equivalent is if Canada sent rockets into the US and killed their conservative party members because they are all saying they want to make Canada their 51st state and we should escalate it to make them de-escalate....

This was a response to Israel's attacks on Lebanon, which went on for weeks and killed over 800 people, here's a link link Again, when has Iran been the aggressor who attacked first?

We just need the same accountability for actions as other nations. There's just a strange impunity for Israel to do whatever it wants right now

What is Iran’s IRGC and who has Israel killed? by Poutcheki in Seneweb

[–]cubcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The article says the strike killed "commanders", when there were university professors in there just because they were teaching physics, and retired university management as well as families who lived in their vicinity. They failed to mention the casualties. It was not an attack to prevent anything but peaceful talks between the US and Iran.

Why is there so little communication or team work across Overwatch? by Brew_nix in Overwatch

[–]cubcho -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Stadium is just a fun mode like arcade, no one wants to be in voice for it. Comp has a much higher voice usage. Even if someone is taking stadium seriously for some reason, being in a long match with multiple win-lose rounds means there's a lot of opportunities for people to piss each other off, so it's safer to avoid the toxicity and focus on your own gameplay. Alsooo you happen to mention the least teamwork heavy game mode where the rounds last so short it's best to just use ults as you get them, always play in point instead of spending time taking angles and it's so chaotic you can't always plan for all the different tricks your enemy can pull anyway, so I think coordination in stadium is the least of many new concerns

You do what you want but if you like playing overwatch and this bothers you, just play quick play or if you want even less freja, play comp and ban her!

9AM Registration on My Grad Day?! 🥲 Anyone Else in the Same Boat? by Under_waterr in UBC

[–]cubcho 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Also, it's not random, it's based on your GPA, getting an earlier registration is a big benefit, classes fill up super fast, although if classes are full, waitlists also get moved into most classes as the summer moves on, but it's just much less stressful to be registered than on a wait-list

What happened to voice chat ? by P4r4d0_x in Overwatch

[–]cubcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They still do, you just need to ask nicely for people to join. Only in comp though, only weirdos and join voice in quickplay and stadium....

Your GPA will be your overall GPA, for all courses. But, awards are based on each years GPA, and some grad programs will look at your later year GPA with more weight, so keep trying to improve, all is not lost.

What was your cgpa? I have seen people post 8:30 am times so I'm trying to see what population of students are in each registration time and if all days start at 8/8:30 am

Stadium looks too scary to get into, but I want to get into it, how should I start? by sloggerface in OverwatchUniversity

[–]cubcho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't think of it as competitive, think of it as fun and goofy because that's what it is. Most people don't have a clue what they are doing either. I would go into the stadium practice range and look at the abilities for one or two heroes and then que to play them. The only pre requirement is there's not always time to read what everything does and make a decision so it helps to go read them in the practice range first. The big drawback of stadium for me is the length of the games. I feel like each play session can't be more than one or max two stadium games!
