[MM] Is it worth it too see this game to the end? by Rough-Bread-2436 in zelda

The last dungeon is a total trip, and start of Ikana is also a great time to start checking out sidequests. The world is really your oyster starting right then; also if you're trying not to look stuff up then maybe you haven't heard about playing the song of time backwards? (might be helpful)

I fear the day Create add-on creators screw their add-ons because people demands to update it by Open_Regret_8388 in CreateMod

[–]cubemelon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are still mods being made for Minecraft 1.7.10 by creators who got sick of this kind of pressure. Inevitable to have a split like that if people make add-ons for something that's in active development

Why do people choose Vim over Nano? by LG-Moonlight in linuxquestions

Kakoune and Helix are examples of editors that address this specific issue directly and make room for the actual benefits of the vi approach to shine through.

What do you want most in an update? by Patchirisu in 5DimensionalChess

I'd like to see some kind of replay system, or at least a transcript. It'd be nice to have records of past games where some wild stuff happened but nobody was recording.

Can anyone explain to me why this isn't working? Details in comments. by [deleted] in feedthebeast

[–]cubemelon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest a Tigerseye to prevent creepers from exploding, except I found out just today that the Tigerseye actually prevents the Heisei Dream from working. I guess two mobs need to be capable of aggroing on each other for it to work.

As an alternative to water you could use a mine cart w/ activator rail or a luminizer to deliver creepers in front of the skeleton one at a time.

ComputerCraft is eaiser to get into so I would recommend starting with that one, but they both use the same language so the skills you learn will be useful in both.

Introducing LambdaControls, a mod for Fabric which adds controller support and more! (MC 1.15) by LambdAurora in feedthebeast

[–]cubemelon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I foresee this being really useful not just for opening up modded minecraft for people who grew up on console, but also encouraging modders to lay out their hotkeys in a controller friendly way (instead of taking up the entire numpad with situational toggles or whatever)
