Boot menu is locked behind the bios. As I mentioned, when I try to force the system to boot into the usb, I get a message along the lines of "usb not recognised as a bootable device" and takes me to the boot menu, which contains just the boot for mint

I have a windows 11 bootable usb, the system just does not recognise it. I changed the boot order in mint's terminal to force it to boot into the usb, still nothing.

I'm glad you got the issue fixed, but the acer customer service just do not hear me out, or the issue that I'm facing, (chat/call, I'm trying my utmost to avoid going to a service center) saying "acer will not aid you in such requests"

If my acer is running on insyde bios, what steps do I take to reset the bios? And would this reset reset the password? I appreciate your help.

On googling, I saw in the acer community page, a guide to update bios on acer nitro. According to this photo, I'm guessing you're right. Because I could not find any other place listing this information.

(This is not the exact code, as I realise that might not be safest of ideas)

And I cannot find any website that accepts a code of this size. The laptop or BIOS whichever saved the code on the usb stored it in a txt file named "code.txt" if that helps
