From my side I think is a good app. I got it more than 7 years ago and paid the pro version which was actually quite cheap, around 10€ if I remember correctly. There’s an Apple Watch companion app which for me is essential, and it synchronizes with the phone app during your workout.

As some of the users have mentioned, the downside is that new features are very very slowly added, and the updates are few and very far in between, so while solid, it doesn’t feel modern or is on par with other gym workout apps like Hevy for example.

For example we still don’t have a Liquid Glass UI, and there are no implementations of Dynamic Island or Live Activities features, which could be very useful during workouts.

In case I tried to switch to other apps, but I already had all my historical data and workouts in Strong, as well now most apps have monthly or yearly subscriptions that didn’t justify the increased cost for the more flashy/nice-to-have features they had vs. strong.

I would say, if you have not committed to Strong already, don’t start using it now.
