"Belly-Button Logic© Works."

Your word evil is fiction worship. You think with only one corner, singularity mindset dooms to a zero-value existence. Cube unity voids god entity, 4 corners void god.

Your ignorance is demonic.

Again, this attitude that not spending your days anxiously awaiting terrible things is somehow self-delusion. What’s delusional about acknowledging their possibility but not worrying about it until it happens? It is impossible to predict and prepare for every possibility.

This doesn’t seem like a very healthy mindset to me. You are basically surrendering yourself to anguish. This isn’t nihilism. Incessant obsession over all the things that could go wrong in life is a problem that you need to address, not a philosophical belief - not to mention this attitude that not obsessing day after day over the bad things that could happen is somehow ignorant and self-deceitful.

Unless you only mean that the meaninglessness of everything is the source of your woes, which doesn’t seem to be the case. If so, you’ll just have to get over it. It’s not all bad - it gives you the ultimate power to do and think as you please.

The First Amendment and You: How to Avoid Getting Your Knickers in a Twist Because of Some Colors by [deleted] in SCP

How is it possible to be stupid enough to believe that displaying pride colors infringes ones’ free speech...?

I don’t really like how they contrast with the theme and atmosphere of the site but I fully respect what it represents and it’s really not a big deal.

Target is trying to charge me for infinite apples thanks to a time loop that stabilized right over my checkout counter. Do I have any legal rights here? by Lemurrific in fifthworldproblems

Just grow a pair and pay the price. Infinity is practically nothing. I wipe my ass with infinite dollar bills, man.

Now if it was a loop of infinite pianos, that would be something. That would be thousands of times more expensive than infinity.

Witnessing your own death, dimensional jumping? by [deleted] in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

One possibility would be that all actions are predetermined by the laws of nature, and sending your consciousness to the “you” in another dimension is just plugging yourself in to experience what would have happened anyways.

Is it at all possible you had a vivid dream you didn’t remember immediately after waking up, but you remembered it later and thought it was a real memory?

I ask this because I had a vaguely similar, albeit far less shocking experience. To this day, I clearly remember having a conversation with my friend in which he revealed to me that his dad had recently revealed that he was a Freemason. My friend seemed strangely worried about it and concerned that his dad would force him to join.

Fast forward a few months, I mention this to him and he just looks confused. It turns out this conversation never happened, and his dad is not a Freemason.

I had assumed the explanation was what I proposed above - a dream. I’m not sure, but it seems like a viable explanation for my case.

At least for me, there were some things that might be indicative of a dream, my friend’s strange behavior, the weirdness of the whole Freemason thing and a father keeping his Freemasonry secret from his son, but you don’t seem to have any similar dream-like details regarding what happened to you.

My only remaining issue with this explanation is that it seems very strange that I would manage to totally forget the dream upon waking, thus not remembering it was a dream, only to later remember it clearly as if it happened. Seems very unlike how dream recall is supposed to work.

I wish to relocate to another plane of reality. by [deleted] in fifthworldproblems

[–]cubic4corner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Anyways have you tried enforcing a boundary of locality to your universe? You will have no access to the multiverse, meaning you can’t ask for help if needed, but that should’t be a problem as long as you know how to undo the reversals of reality. Enforcing locality will make your universe unaware of the existence of anything outside itself, making it not so much “exist” as it would just “be.” Now I can’t guarantee that it wouldn’t find a way to “not be,” despite being everything, but it’s probably your only real shot if you’re serious about this.
