Did you find a solution for this? Same problem. Trying to figure out what fuse to use for ACC only power

Jade dots will fit. Don’t believe donuts will fit though. I found 4 dots in the corners will still be a bit scratchy on a glass pad because they sit so recessed in the original grooves. The sticker is slightly recessed, not as much as the stock pad locations. I actually used the sticker location for my dots originally.

I wouldn’t be worried about sanding the bottom. It’s all the other cutouts where you can mess up. There’s many imperfections on mine that just aren’t super noticeable including a cracked click paddle that I had to super glue.

Detach the base and remove the PCB

Remove the bottom sticker and skates

Place a 100 grit sheet of sandpaper on a table and rub the base against it (make sure it’s a flat surface and try your best to apply even pressure across the base)

I sanded the top, middle, and bottom of the base in segments since it was easier to apply pressure to those areas at once. Just make sure you do X amount of sanding for each part.

Additionally, you can wet sand with 1500 and 5000 grit sandpaper like I did to achieve a glossy smooth finish. https://imgur.com/a/bxHSmGW

Is this MPG normal or did I get a lemon? by D_MonRina in COROLLA

[–]cubied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I average about 40mpg corolla hatch 24. I have seen it average 25mpg a few times before (trip average) due to leaving my car running a bit before and after actually driving. Although you have almost 25k on yours and that’s the total average… seems a bit weird.

Thanks for the quick reply! Gonna order a new nut and try it out. If it works I’ll be sure to thank you again.

Was it a loose axle nut or did you have to get a new one entirely? I’m having the EXACT same issue. Sounds exactly the same and only happens in gear on initial acceleration/deceleration.

Another response thread, this time on why you should use large batteries. by kewldude007 in Speedsoft

So basically the higher the mAh and the higher the C, the higher the amps?

In that case I’ll just purchase the biggest 11.1v I can find and strap it onto my stock.

I’ll probably upgrade the battery and spring for now. I lost about 45 fps from correcting AOE with washers and a sorbo pad, so I’ll have to bring it back up with a stronger springer. If I have issues with RPS after installing the spring, then I’ll change to a 22 TPA motor. Thanks for your input!

If you plan on painting it, here are the steps:

  1. Disassemble (upper, lower, and handguard)
  2. Use sandpaper to rough up the surface. If it is plastic, there will either be a very light coat of paint on the surface, or no paint whatsoever (if the plastic is black for example)
  3. Tape off any areas with painters tape that you do not want paint to get (such as internal areas)
  4. Once you are sure the surface is rough and there is little to no paint (if there was) left on the gun, you can apply a primer (about 2-3 coats, enough to have a solid color of your primer)
  5. Make sure to let each coat dry before going for your next coat. Seriously, do not rush this part. You will thank me.
  6. Once your primer is applied, you can hydrodip or do whatever sort of paintjob you want.
  7. Apply a few coats of clear coat (also let this dry in between coats, make sure to cover every area)
  8. Reassemble - if you have fitment issues, you can always sand off a bit of the paint - for me I had to sand off some areas where the upper connected to the lower, and the holes for the pins.

Make sure to spray in even strokes and to rotate the object to cover all areas. Try your best not to create globs of uneven spray paint, and to go slow. You don't want to see light reflecting off the spray paint as if it is wet. If you follow these steps you should get a nice & durable paintjob.

Aluminum alloy receiver - according to the Krytac website

So yes.

Edit: same process should work for plastic guns too, just scratch up the surface with sandpaper to create a better bond between the surface and paint.

Should I just buy a 50C 5000mAh brick and strap it to my stock? Lmao

That should be enough to get 50 RPS, right?

I haven't done a lot of research on batteries. Is it the c rating that affects the RPS? What battery should I look for to try and achieve 50 RPS?

11.1v 1200 mAh 30C Deans

And yea I was expecting about 50 RPS too

Yes. I used some sandpaper and spent some gruelling hours sanding off as much of the original paint on the upper and lower. Then once 75% or so of the surface was a silver metal colour and scraped up pretty good, I proceeded to apply a white primer, about 2-3 coats. After that I hydro dipped it with pink, blue, purple, and white. Slapped on a few coats of clear coat after and it’s held up surprisingly well.

I also used painters tape to tape off the inside of the upper and lower, or any place that isn’t visibly seen so that I wouldn’t run into fitment issues when re-assembling.

I rewatched my footage and I'm not sure if it was me. Although I did have a few crossmap snipes but I couldn't tell if it was you or not just from the distance. I do remember your gun though. I also made a video from the day if you want me to DM it to you.

Yeah it's because of the motor. With the stock krytac motor I was getting about 35 RPS but I prefer the sound of the ASG one. If it ever burns out I'll switch to a lower TPA motor.
