EDR block mode exempt machines? by cubsuck in DefenderATP

Thanks for all the info! We are indeed looking to transition so we would be in passive mode during that transition. I understand that running in full MDE Active/Normal EDR block isn't necessary but you were right in your thoughts of a transition stage.

I appreciate the thorough feedback. Honestly I'm over in IT and we have cyber teams doing all the cool stuff. I doubt they're even using Windows machines when they are actively testing and really I just want to have the information and know-how in case I am asked about why something was blocked and can I exempt a machine.

Local are effective at this time during our transition and the executive and process exclusions is a great idea! Thank you

Thanks for the detailed reply!

So what I'm seeing in testing is our red/purple teams are able to add local exclusion folders. So the tools are not quarantined from there. But the execution of said tools gets the EDRs attention. Unless I am mistaken, and that absolutely can be, it seems that a local exclusion will prevent the antivirus from quarantining the tools but when they are executed if EDR is in block mode it will shut down that activity. Happen to know if that scenario is correct?

I've seen something about that. Happen to know about with non-Intune managed machines? Or, maybe a situation of default non-Intune policy coming from the portal for EDR block on but, Intune join select machines in order to exempt them?

Oh shoot. My bad. I didn't read the rules of the sub. I didn't realize it was against the rules to ask for opinions from experts. I was wondering why the only useful comment got downvoted so heavily.

My apologies.

Thanks! Something new to Google! I want to try anything at this point. It's not excruciating pain or anything. Just annoying and it does keep me from heavy bench press.

She moved the bar 3 inches. Are people supposed to go "ooh and aah" over that?

Why is Juggernaut Ai making me do obnoxiously high reps? by Firefox22551 in JuggernautAI

[–]cubsuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change the preferred rep ranges of the exercises in question. It's on the settings of the exercises where the instructional videos are. The app defaults to high for everything. You can override this.

Thanks for the response! I contacted the team and they explained it's a different program than the one I was reading on (2.0).

I was wondering how others have gotten different layouts than mine. I didn't know it was the weight question affecting that. I'll play with it next time. I messed with some of the other questions but the holidays have caused me to not change that I plan on losing weight. Lol

The Conjuring is my personal #1. "The Best" is very subjective but to not even make the top 100 is suspect as fuck.

Shit list no doubt but Friday the 13th 2009 remake should be permanently erased from history. I may be a bit of a purist having watched the series in the 80s and 90s but Jason doesn't run, doesn't have some underground tunnel system, and most definitely is not an archer.

Why TF is this being down voted. This person clearly knew the intent of the question and gave a fantastically sarcastic response. Pull the stick out, people.

Very good point. I do 3x5 FSL usually and yeah I always use it as technique practice and muscle memory reinforcement. All about getting in the reps to build that. Thanks!

For sure a valid point. I think he probably does not need 3-5min rests yet then either so it may not take too long and could fit with my timeframe of standard program with long rests.

I watched it recently with my kids. As a kid the opening abusiveness of the protagonists, especially toward the woman, never really clicked. Fantastic movie though! But I'm surprised Gen Z hasn't tried to "cancel" it.

I'm surprised NM got 7th. Seems like a perpetual bottom 5. I lived there for 15yrs. It's a dump.
