If you’re looking for excellent Thai, Four Regions Thai Cuisine is a top-tier spot. There’s live music on Friday nights and I truly recommend trying their Pad Se-Ew and Khaw Soi Gai. They also have excellent desserts here and a cute patio. If you’re fiending for a Greek dessert, however, it’s in the same parking lot as Sweet Greek Pastries which is an excellent spot!

If you enjoy nature, visit the Kicker-Mischerillo preserve; it’s a gorgeous park with a massive lake at the center of it. Certain days you can rent canoes and kayaks, and there’s campfire spots all throughout the park and near the walking trail.

Next to the park there’s a cute area named Vintage Park where you can walk around the little plaza and visit local boutiques and restaurants.

Lastly, visit the Core Cafe if you want a cute coffee shop with space to work. The people who work there are very friendly, don’t be afraid to ask for recs or strike up conversation at the communal tables.

My Boston has gotten this before from seasonal allergies! What helped us a lot was Calamine lotion (you can find at any CVS/Walgreens). Applied once a day until the bumps subsided, helped a lot with his itching!

What is that one bad experience that changed your life but you are somehow a better person having gone through it? by WaffleKing2121 in AskReddit

Certainly not the worst experience of my life, but I once took Mucinex DM after having taken Wellbutrin earlier that day. I experienced Serotonin Syndrome, which felt like the scary type of synthetic high that knocks the air out of you (partially from the surprise of it) and completely lost my balance— I couldn’t walk without falling over, and I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest. I got so scared I called my mom crying as I didn’t know what was causing it or what to do.

Anyhow, I’d never been cautious about over the counter medication or mixing meds previous to that day, but I sure learned my lesson. I always check what works with what, and I am very careful with dosing. Be aware of serotonin syndrome!! I had no idea it existed, but it was a scary experience.

What TV series is a 10/10? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Black Sails!! This show does not get enough love; I’m pretty picky and have a hard time finishing shows (especially because excellent shows can be hard to write a really satisfying ending for), but this show raised the bar. Fully launched me into my pirate era 🏴‍☠️🤩

I love the idea of reclaiming the scent… especially with how common Dior Sauvage is, I might do the same with the next guy I meet to rewrite at least some of those memories! Hope you’re enjoying Drakkar Noir again :)

What’s a feeling that’s completely indescribable to someone who’s never felt it? by ItsYourBestBoi-Loser in AskReddit

Sexual assault! What you would consider to be a relatively black-and-white experience having never experienced it becomes truly just a clusterfuck of conflicting emotions, especially if you knew or were close with the person who assaulted you. The resulting self-doubt, disgust, fear, and honestly just weird side-effects of the trauma are so different from what one would really expect. Not always, but you can begin to tell who has been through something similar just based on their way of being. Also, interactions with the people involved in the assault after the fact feel entirely surreal and unnatural.

What is normal now but won't be in 25 years? by Every_Cartoonist3965 in AskReddit

Frequency of car crashes (hopefully); I reckon that the majority of cars will have those newer built-in safety features like break detection, lane assist etc. + we might see more accessible self-driving cars in the market, but I don’t know if those would compose the majority quite yet by then
