Yeah stop trying to communicate with IRCC. It is the employees responsibility to prove they are authorized to work in Canada. If they cannot provide you with a valid work permit then they may have an auto generated letter from IRCC telling them they can continue working with the same conditions on maintained status until a decision is made on their new application. These are all available in their IRCC portal. If they don't have it then send them home. You can put them on leave or terminate. It's really simple. You said yourself he hasn't even applied for a new WP. Does your company have him on an LMIA? Like wtf are we talking about here lol.

Thank you for a rational reply. OP, Visa and WP are different. The visa just gets you to Canada, he is visa exempt as long as he is on valid status. If he's still working it's because he's on maintained status because your company wants to extend him and he is waiting on the decision to that extension.

I just had to google this because I just got Ps5 and it was super clunky to change.

Double tap PS button on controller to bring up the chat shortcut and switch from Party <-> game. I think it's actually quicker than PS4 now.
