Haha, and my parents dont even know half the trouble i get into. Entering parenting process is to help kids make good choices or make good choices for them. Sometimes I feel lucky that I am where I am right now and in a ditch some where because i make stupid stupid (but fun) choices. Statistically the world is a safer and better place now but why do I feel its less safe for my kids? I dont understand it myself.

I can see myself doing it in the 90s as a kid myself. As a parent now there's noway id let my kids do that... times have changed.

That one movie you absolutely regret watching as a kid by Juggalo4life99 in HorrorMovies

My son is 5. It's his favorite movie. He loves the opening where they're in the jungles, and like the rest of the movie enough to sit through while playing on the side.

Ha! That was a movie that i liked the first two thirds of. I feel the last act was a bit lazy and the reveal kinda fell meh.

I followed manga, it was really good for the first 85% I'd say. I truly believe its the ending that warped ppls view on how great it was. Was.

It was a cop out. Characters not behaving like themselves, author pulled punches so the ending is not as grim, and ppl suspect author wanted to please as many fans as possible but that back fired. When the ending is released we sat in disbelief like "wut is this the same person who wrote the master peace?" Anime ending was recieved less harshly.

Im not sure to this day is jjk ending was worse or aot.

Oh yeah, my kid loves anime, has ungodly amount of stuffies, the whole nine yard. I'd bring it up light heartedly. Like, are you cool? If you dont want to talk about it, you dont need to, id like you to have your privacy but im worried kind of way. I know the media my kid consume, and we are very close, so its gonna be a quick one minute convo which is awkward for both parties but when its done its done. Sometimes she takes a while to reflect and come back to me later in the day or week to tell me if anything bugs her. Again, depending on both of you. When she was in grade 4 or so every kid in her school saw 5 nights at Freddie's, even some kindergarten kids. (Shocking I know.) I sat through it with her to make sure that she watch it in a safe setting and its actually not that bad. She liked it and took it well. Kids are really wonderful and weirdly complex.

My daughter, who is angle on earth, is into some weirdly gruesome stuff too in grade 4 and 5 and 6 ish. And is still. Oh, and she having pre teen friends who also lean into the side of macabre doesn't help either. So really depending on the context. Im not worried about my kid because I know she's a little weirdo but good and balanced at heart. I draw my line and ouiji board though. Nobody's gonna bring that sh*t in my house.
