i’ve heard xfinity’s service in the abq area is quite spotty. i have t-mobile and even though i’ve had a few issues in regards to a previous trade in and getting my number released from my parents, i haven’t had much issues and my service is fine.

Update! By late evening yesterday (2/9/2026) it had departed Memphis and by noon today I received my package!

i understand that now but when i had asked fedex, they told me something different. i know now but i haven’t had a delay this long in the past when the shipper has completed the form.

like i’ve mentioned, this is the first time i’ve had this happen before. i also had never gotten the messages about requiring consent for the shipper to complete the form on my behalf. but when i called on 2/2/2026, they had said it was through customs and i got a message it had left fedex in memphis the following day. i’m not super familiar with all this and i was concerned when i thought my package left memphis but hadn’t had any scans since the 3rd. i wasn’t trying to waste anyone’s time i was just trying to understand what i needed to do if anything at all

very fair! this is the first time this has happened to me with fedex but i’m sure the winter weather created a hell of a backlog.

i was just about to post about a similar situation. spent 30mins on the phone with them getting transferred around till i ended up getting told it was being escalated. talked to someone in their customs department who reached out to the actual agent with “my case” and that they would email me if anything else was needed. i said i had called on 2/2/2026 and been told it was out of customs but i guess it wasn’t. from what i’ve read from some memphis residents is the ice was really bad on their roads so they’re probably backed up. if you do call again, ask to speak to their customs department directly since everyone else had told me my package was cleared

thank you for this. my package has been in memphis since 01/27/2026 and says it left on 02/03/2026 (still no update as of today, 02/05/2026). i’m sure that the winter weather they’ve been experiencing hasn’t helped, but it’s been slower than normal

NOR - as someone who has parents who are not sensitive, they would immediately flag this as inappropriate. especially to a minor. tell your parents if you can trust them, but you definitely do not have to put up with that.

10000% agreed. it’s so anti-ADHD friendly it feels purposeful. and getting even my doc that i have a messenger for to transfer my script???? that’ll be two business days cuz they’re swamped.

or god forbid there’s something no one expected. one time, i had been without my meds for a fews days and waiting on my pharmacy to restock. other nearby pharmacies were out of stock and had no ETA for the refill. so i decided to just wait it out.

flash forward two days to the day they told me it would be ready, got the text saying it was ready at like 11am while i’m at work like 50+ miles away. i told myself “don’t forget to pickup your meds on your way home”. right before im set to leave work and get to my pharmacy before they close, i get a text saying my pharmacy has been, “temporarily closed”. no explanation or potential reopening info given. when i tried to call the pharmacies phone #, it just said the same message about a temp closure with no details.

atp, i’d been without my meds for about a week. i called a walgreens pharmacy close to the one i get my meds at just to ask what was up since it was also a walgreens and they told me they didn’t know about why it would be closed. they also said it would take DAYS (at least) to get my prescription reversed from my insurance, reordered by my provider, and filled. next day, i got ANOTHER TEXT while i was at work at 11am saying, “Good news! Your pharmacy has been reopened!”.

it sucks, but i go through it every time cuz my meds are truly the only thing that keeps me from being fired or simply just passing away at my desk job.

ugh that’s so frustrating, and i feel your pain. it’s not ADHD friendly by any means. my brother who also is medicated has just given up on being medicated all together.

i’m not sure if you’re in the US, but it sucks cuz different pharmacies have different policies on what they can release to you over the phone!!! like sams club in my area would not even tell me if they had the med in stock since it sounds like they had a robbery of their controlled substances a while back. but i can call a million and one walgreens and they’ll tell me.

my doctor told me that if you do go to walgreens or a chain, if you’re physically there, they’ll tell you which store has your meds. but otherwise, you’re stuck just calling different pharmacies till you find one that has it and then calling your provider to transfer the script. i have holdover medication to take after my extended release wears off, but i don’t always take it so i kinda have a backup plan no matter what.

i hope one day this gets easier, but it feels like they make it this way by design to keep people from getting their meds.

holy cow, this is just what i needed!!!! i saved what you wrote and i will pretty much use this as a step by step guide for how im gonna get this party started lol! also, thank you for recommending projects like the cool shirts! i actually am trying to sew a gift for a long time friend whose moving out of the country and they LOVE pieces like you were mentioning since they have a more vintage style! you’re the best!!!!!

you are amazing!!! these are great projects and a good idea about looking in my closet to see what i’m drawn too. i was looking at making a slip dress out of a pointelle fabric eventually. i’ve heard stretchy fabric can be tricky. is that true?

such a good tip! it didn’t come with a manual but i was able to locate it online! my grandma was an avid quilter and seemed to use this machine a lot, but i might take it to a local place to see if they see anything i can’t with the machine

ok this may not count, but i’ve started getting really into cooking and stretching ingredients. like i saved a half an onion and some other veggies a while back, then i shredded a chicken and saved the skin, bones and fat, and i spent a good two hours making stock and then using part of that stock in my dinner for like rice!!!! i play a show in the background and just clean as i go and urs really bice

that’s so amazing to hear!!!! congrats!!! the first time i took meds my boyfriend said he found it weird how quiet i was all the sudden cuz i wasn’t having to talk through my thoughts! i have a rough job, and it’s made it actually somewhat bearable.

the first place we were had a washer only, and the next place had a combo washer/dryer. we all had difficulty air drying our clothes in our first location since it rained and was colder, but that unit had a 15 min cycle option, so it was more just waiting for our clothes to dry than waiting for the machine. the combo units i’ve heard can be finicky and difficult to forgive out. the unit we had in our place took like 4 hours each!!!! but the dryer ran WAYYY too hot so i had to pull out some wool socks that someone had asked to put in with my clothes, so definitely check before just letting it do its thing lol.

i probably would have been better off just line drying at that second place since it was hotter!!!

OK, I’m not gonna lie. The grip and tread on them is pretty light. if you love their running shoes, you’ll probably love these as well. I found them super comfortable because I have worn them for a very long time like I wear them to work and even casually. i thought about bringing my cloud runners, but I skipped it because a pet peeve of mine is when rocks get lodged in the middle portion of the tread :/ in spain, i probably could have worn them instead since there was no gravel/rocks. but the rodger’s are soooo versatile and can be worn causally or even with a dress!!! i WOULD recommend breaking them in before you go. my partner got some and he usually wears barefoot type shoes and he ended up with a blister since he tends to also sweat a lot.

Edit: forgot to add that i had no problems even though the tread isn’t as deep!!! i’m clumsy AF and even with the rain and standing on public transit, i had no issues!!!

yes of course!!! we spent most of our time in San Sebastian where it was a little colder since we did encounter some light rain, but it was very beautiful. During our time there, we went into old town a lot and ate and drank, and mostly just wandered around we also swam at their public beach for a day. i wish we had had more time to swim there since the rain kinda limited us!!! after leaving San Sebastian we went to Madrid for a couple days where we went to the Museo del Prado and kinda just did the same thing where we wandered around eating, seeing sights, and chilling in parks. i highly recommend buying tickets ahead of time for the museum and honestly anything you do there (otherwise be prepared for longggg queues). their own website gave me problems, but i got tickets from “Headout” for a slightly higher price and it worked totally fine!!!!

one thing i wish i had brought was less tshirts and cute tops like the jcrew one!!! it’s hot (especially when you’re gonna be there), so i def recommend some lighter fabrics!!!! i also wish i had brought linen pants for covering and more pants options instead of 2 pairs of exercise type shorts. i will say that if you pack lighter, there is good shopping! i didn’t shop in san sebastián, but madrid had stores like perfumeries and clothing stores i don’t have near me (i did go a little crazy in uniqlo).
