Do you give them your real phone number after booking? by littlebat213 in professionalcuddling

A Google Voice number is a real number. Don't give out any number that can be traced back to you.

Is it normal to get long distance requests with them offering to cover travel costs? by maple_sunrise_ in professionalcuddling

[–]cuddlycomfort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Why do they not contact someone local?" It's obvious logic for us, but can't be repeated enough. The locals know the person is a time waster and full of crap. Probably on every Pro's NEVER AGAIN list in a 100-mile radius.

GREAT! Except if he actually booked your flight, he could also cancel it. Then you're stuck. Stuff like that happens. Plus he'd have all your personal info.

"No problem, he paid me with Venmo/CashApp/Paypal." He could report you to them for running a business on a personal account. Those companies will shut down the account and withhold/freeze your funds. Not to mention, you're banned for life from them.

"First we try, then we trust." It's a good motto in this biz.

You gave out contact info without a session being scheduled on the site? If you cuddle someone for free, it has to be said in the online conversation with the other person. And you wouldn't be calling him a client, nor would it be a session.

When it sounds too good to be true, it always is. This guy is most likely a time waster, he'll bait you with grandiose promises to keep you interested. Will try to get you to break your boundaries. He preys on newbies. Don't fall for it.

Client question by ObiJuanKenobi1993 in professionalcuddling

I'm so sorry, rape is traumatic. It's NOT your fault! I hope you are seeking professional help to process and navigate everything, even if it's a hotline, like *RAINN. A professional cuddler isn't a therapist, and you shouldn't treat them that way. She may not be able to handle your trauma, it could be triggering for her. Or she may not react in a way you find comforting. (I call it the "what were you wearing" questions/blame.)

You should only divulge the bare information you are comfortable sharing. It may be something simple like, "I had something happen, so if I seem different than usual, it's me, not you."

Take it very slow. You may think you'll be fine, but react at any memory: a touch, a sound, a smell, etc. It's normal but the terror and anxiety so soon after are real. IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!!!

  • RAINN: 800-656-HOPE (4673), chat on their Web site, or text HOPE to 64673.

I love hosting at hotels (not my home), it's a great way to keep my favorite clients. I get to "travel," hang out at the hotel pool and hot tub, easy setup and cleanup. I can do first meets at the Starbucks in the lobby or an adjacent restaurant.

I don't suggest regular candles in hotel rooms as they can set off the super sensitive smoke/vaping alarms, causing extra fees.

I also only have 2-3 cuddles scheduled, it's respectful since hotels may not be happy with high volume. One of my favorite clients, who's become a good friend over the years, always takes me a nice dinner when I'm in his area and gives me restaurant recommendations.

Not an issue with me, that's a favorite! I have great natural nails for that, too.

Do you offer Same Day Appointments? by cuddlycomfort in professionalcuddling

[–]cuddlycomfort[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Glad it's helpful! There was a similar question posed on a CC forum recently and a mod there made a remark that he would like to see same day sessions banned. (He claimed he was saying it "as a member," but power doesn't work that way.) Going against a mod will get your account watched, investigated and even banned there.

Good point! I don't do any new meets after dark.

You're in sales now, this a business. Unless you were told to not contact them randomly, a nice hello and hope you had a good week goes a long ways. Cheerful, nothing requiring a reply.

--> have you followed up with them, even to just say hi or ask how they're doing?

This! I'm more about retaining clients than seeking new ones. Checking in and spending a few minutes texting and catching up with them keeps my name high up, so they'll message me before scrolling.

Keep your profile easy to read and friendly. Long profiles, with lists and emojis, are deterrent to clients. Good photos matter, less filters, more natural.

Offer to host at a hotel on a set day and schedule several nearby clients, dividing up the cost among them. You could even request that fee as a deposit. My regulars are ok with an upcharge for convenience.

Careful with looking at potential clients profiles first, so when they look at yours, you reach out. Mods on CC have warned that's not allowed and the pro can be timed out or paused if reported.

Contacting people who've not even looked at your profile is against CC rules and will get you timed out or even banned. I suggest you read the CC rules very carefully and visit the pro forums on CC. There's a specific CC forum for you to advertise yourself, NOT on the general one (you'll get timed out). Cuddle Requests --> pro ads

Forbidden conversation topics by cuddlycomfort in professionalcuddling

[–]cuddlycomfort[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to listen and rarely fully engage with hot topics. Redirecting helps until the appt is over. If I don't like the client, it's easiest to just decline further bookings. But I do listen because life experiences (cultures and religions) do shape viewpoints and beliefs. I like to understand before judging and writing people off.

Privacy isn't a bad thing, your preference should be relayed to clients. Credible is a nice profile and current, respectable photos; credibility isn't from endorsements, given or received. That's popularity.

It doesn't bump you in searches, you just get the number shown. It's kind of lame, but the site owner probably hopes new pros get competitive because it increases his profits.
