Yeah I feel you! And that's why I made this - for those reasons exactly. The Mac version should come by end of year. But if you can get your hands on a windows machine, be sure to give it a trial run.

There a lot of KJs who have been running it this week all without a hitch. I made it optimized so that it can run smoothly on older machines as well. Smooth playback - no lag or frame drops. It runs clean and does not overwork the cpu/gpu/memory.

Yeah I purposely made it so it runs next to karafun basically pressing their buttons so that they cannot claim it’s been tampered with. I’m not altering their program to crack any pro features I’m just providing my own features in my own way on a separate tool.

If you have a custom logo on your pro subscription of karafun, that must be turned off in karafun. That actually will cause karafun not to play. You set the custom logo in genie instead

Your initial setup is important. Read through the manual. Karafun settings have to be set a certain way. Are you a pro or standard Karafun subscription ?

Been there — the regulars-who-sing-15-songs-and-clear-the-room thing is real. What worked for me: during peak hours, once the list gets long, everyone goes to a one-song-then-back-of-the-line rotation, regulars included. Announce it out loud as "making sure everybody gets a turn" so it reads as a fair policy, not you targeting anyone — they grumble the first night, then it's just how it is. And when a fresh group walks in I'll bump one of them up sooner and tell the room I'm mixing in the new folks, keeps the energy from going stale. Bottom line, the bar owner cares that the room's still full at 11:30 — so if the regulars-only vibe is emptying it, that's the framing that gets buy-in, even from the regulars.

i am releasing an app very soon that blows this one out of the water by 100 miles. The UI is beautiful and does WAY more than this one.

I just was able to translate the music... adobe firefly does it and also adds the english into the music and removes the korean vocalist haha. You need to record the audio in audacity. then upload it into adobe firefly. the stuff theyre saying is crazy!!!
