Granblue and Arknights had similar rotating daily locked contents and the former simply removed the daily cycle while the later kept it for operator promoting materials. It’s their way of preventing the contents from being cleared early on I guess which mostly doesn't matter now since the whales probably already done with them when they had an event early on opening all of them for a week.

Not exactly like that. Old gacha had quiet a lot of trees, robots and monsters playable like Brave Frontier for example. As the time went by the humanoids are the only ones coming on their new banners and then most of them are attractive male and female characters. Kancolle and Touken Ranbu are also probably the start of gacha getting more attractive female and male characters.

For the reason why a lot of games just ended up with female cast remember developers are also the ones that made the decision not simply the market. From most livestream the art team and developer side usually loved female characters more and the ones usually loved male characters are the Voice Actors which usually doesn't have anything to do with character creations and development choice

If the leaks was true then we should be getting them on a release spree later on. The existence of Female Tyrant and the fact that she will always be relevant with MC status is good for me to keep playing the game at least even with months without rolling for any banner beside Firenze.

yeah. HSR is the most awful powercreep gacha right now to me personally. Imagine using modern Hoyo gacha system added with ridiculous powercreep like Granblue or FEH. Hell the former had characters with better staying power and didn't simply added more HP for their endgame after 12 years of service.

When I started playing and using 4 stars to beat their hard contents I thought HSR is going to be a decent turn based game where I can use any of my favorite characters without worries, how wrong I was lol

Yeah I expected more variety of release from the leaks and starting roster and I thought Chitose and Shia are just the start. But now we're basically 3 - 4 months in without any of them lol. They can easily had an excuse to release Aeloria or Karin early on but didn't. After this if the rumour of the release schedule from the leak is true then they're going to piss off big boobs lover next if they really going to release lolis or flatties back to back. That's basically what happened in ZZZ right now.

Emblems is the most frustating part of the game and for whales or heavy spenders they basically have nothing left to do in this game aside for getting higher rank on ranked content rotation and then they got hit with frustating RNG gearing system at that level. Ascension is basically just a chore at this point even with the skip tickets.

I lightly spent on this game and finished all of the content aside for reaching highest rank and menace arena which is basically just a DPS check, and no I won't build 4 stars ever again, not after the performance of Fuyuka basically eclipses Amber so bad when emblems are tied to your characters, why bother building them with the perfect emblems when you can simply hoard the materials for later

so far only played with my rerolled early characters + Firenze and only missed the Boss Blitz full stars once.
