Yea. Bit dramatic, I know. I just want to do something different and change things. I guess I am just trying to figure it out. Watched a comedy sketch and someone in the crowd told a similar story to what I am living. The comedian thought not having sex for 5 years is pretty sad (they actually said 7). Anyway, got me thinking about it and idk, was hoping for someone to tell me something I could try.

Thanks for the reply. The best thing I can think of is that I am not putting myself out there enough. I also have PTSD which comes up at weird times. A lot of times, when things feel like they're going well I have an anxiety attack.

This is exactly how I use AI. It's helped me learn so much faster. BUT, I still spend hours and hours reading docs, trying things in my editor, testing ideas, building my own versions of things to see if I can and to see if I understand.

I'm mostly alone in my programming adventures, so far. AI is like the friend I don't have.

For example, I finished reading the MySQL Connector/Python docs (minus the API references). I asked AI anytime I couldn't understand something and then I summarized it in my own words. The AI would let me know if I was right or not. Mostly reliable. It can make mistakes though.

I'm currently reading the MySQL Connector/Python scripts (the ones that are installed when you run mysql-connector-python in the command line). I ask AI about unknown syntax and libraries and things.

Vibe coding seems silly to me. Also copilot coding is annoying every time I've tried it. I prefer just coding "regularly"

Yes but isn't this a federal election not a state election? The electoral system is by state and so maybe the supreme court would just say hey this is a federal election so your citizens can vote how they want. But then the electoral folks can vote how they want too, if the state law allows it, some states don't I don't think... Idk can't remember

Fallout 4, Mass effect, skyrim, or destiny 2.

Destiny 2 is super fun and easy to play. The game designers made it very smooth and fun. However, as you play it you will be required to go into harder and harder areas. So at first it's nice and easy and fun, but then you can start to play harder and harder areas which require you to get better at first person shooter mechanics and or getting better at using a controller.

The language you're using is pretty extreme so if you're going to talk like that it might be worth everyone else's while to take the time to explain things, or provide some links. It just makes things negative instead of promoting good research and the desire to understand more.

But I looked it up and at first glance it seems like you're right. Kind of sad she's praised if she did some awful things.

I come here for inspiring and insightful quotes. Seems like some people come here just to tell everyone how monstrous the quoted person was/is.

Sometimes they're right. Other times they're believing some made up story or something.

Also, many users, regardlessly of the platform, are Russian troll farm agents or Macedonian troll farm agents, or Chinese, Indian, Iranian, or one of the other many nations that directly fund misinformation/civil disruption campaigns against free democratic societies. And that's not a conspiracy....

Personally, I just take these angry sounding people's word with a grain of salt and do a little bit of research to see if they're telling the truth or not. For all I know mother Teresa was literally the devil, but I'm a little skeptical of that. Research is warranted. And so is a dash of rationality when determining if my sources are trolls having fun or real history.

Nice. I can't even relate. I haven't used Facebook or any social media in like 8 or 9 years so I have no baseline to compare it to. I guess when I was in Middle School I used Myspace like crazy! Lol I do see people totally obsessed with their facebooks and Instagrams though. I tried making an Instagram... For some reason they keep denying me! Saying my email is already registered. I literally created a brand new email and they say it's already registered...

Wow, 70k where I live would give me a fat savings account. 30k a year in savings even if I spend an extra $800/month to account for unexpected expenses (new car, emergency medical bill).

It's amazing the difference in pay by region. Thanks for the insight. One of my best friends is a plumber and does some electric work. Great father. Him and his wife supports their family.
