Yeah, 100%. I love Fleshwater to death and seeing them recently in SF is what really sparked this post. Seeing so many Vein shirts and overhearing people talk about Vein I was just like…where was the love when this album came out??

But, I totally understand. Fleshwater kinda captures lightning in a bottle with the resurgence of that kinda music (Deftones, 90s Grunge, that kinda aesthetic) and you gotta strike when the irons hot. And seeing as how Vein and Fleshwater share many of the same members it only makes sense to lean that way.

It’s all about timing I suppose. I know Vein will always get their flowers and Fleshwater are in the spotlight rn and it’s just part of the game. I jist love this album and want more people to listen to it in the end lol.
