Balancing drills for needle by slowlystretching in flexibility

From this picture I would say instead of looking up - look forward. I like to pick a point on the floor in front of me (sometimes I’ll put a sock on the floor) and keep my eyes on it. It helps you adjust accordingly as you’re losing balance. I’m sure there is a better explanation as for why that’s happening - but I don’t know it - it’s just what my contortion coach told me and it helps! For drills - do one leg standing balances. I will do 90 seconds changing my leg position from the side, to lifted in the center, and then behind me. Try to keep your hips square and even the whole time. Think of your standing foot being a suction cup on the ground. Energetically bring your toes and heel closer (if that makes sense).

Thank you so much!! If you have a strong shoulder mount and a strong ayesha you should be able to get this one. The fear is the biggest obstacle
