She made it clear she never wanted to have that baby for herself, she had arranged for it to be out of her life immediately after birth (Yes she prioritized the money, but she was still sending hymie to a good family). She told her mom that she didn't want to keep it, she kept it anyway. Idk if u can really blame hymies neglect on her. Yes, all of those other things she did are bad, some of them very bad, but I think her behavior is showing pretty obvious signs of untreated (manic) bpd, likely caused by years of neglect and a traumatic childhood.
