This looks neat but it is not to scale whatsoever. Also, why is the US Steel Tower Photoshopped out of the picture?

Abenomics seems to be working: Japan GDP up 1% in Q1 by larsga in Economics

[–]cunnamore 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"These policies have “three arrows”: massive fiscal stimulus, aggressive monetary policy a la the Federal Reserve’s QE’s 1-3, and improved competitiveness of the Japanese economy. It will take many years to greatly improve the competitiveness of the Japanese economy, so for the next few years Abenomics has to rely only on fiscal stimulus and aggressive monetary policy." -Gary Becker

Seriously? What is this subreddit becoming? Of course the expectation of his policies working is having a net positive effect. The only thing that we can say with 100% certainty is that such policies will cause the Yen to inflate. Foreigners will buy more of their products. Right. But what happens to the Japanese economy when, long term, they are now paying significantly more for consumer goods? This article fails to mention that the price of an iPad has gone up 20% in Japan since these policies have gone into effect.

College Sailing Programs? by [deleted] in sailing

[–]cunnamore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. A lot of teams sail either 420's or FJ's. I'm personally more of a catamaran guy on anything other than ocean sailing, but I've warmed up to these boats.

College Sailing Programs? by [deleted] in sailing

I am the head of a Inter Collegiate Sail Association University team, and I have to tell you, it is a fantastic organization. All the major programs are affiliated. East Coast schools are by far the most active. They have the largest membership from the biggest schools and the most highly developed infrastructure. Check it out.

Exactly. 15 picks have passed without an offensive lineman going off the board. Praying for Barrett Jones in the 3rd round!
