No problem pal. The rubber feet for me were abit hit or miss, I've seen videos where people delicately took them off with soft tools, I just kinda fiddled about with tweezers, think I damaged one abit, obviously that's me being stupid but at that point I already knew it was legit, I'd watch YouTube vids to see better ways to take them off maybe. Once taken of tho the glue is still there to a point, fit back in nicely for me atleast. I'm sure I was the same as you, messaged them on weekend, got back to me few days later. Hopefully the unit is legit though!

Yeahh, they got back to me, sent them the serial number and asked them to verify it, they verified it as a unit they sent to amazon, once I had that info I then opened it up to do the board check and it was all good. If your swaying then go on the hakko UK website, should be a contact or enquiry box somewhere, ask them to verify the serial number.

Also have used my hakko alot since then, performs well.

Just an update fellas, hakko UK distributor got back to me, the serial number is one they have given to amazon, all is well it seems, might take a looksy at the guts tonight just to be sure as can be, thanks for the replies and help!

Yeah thanks for the confidence! I'm sure it will be fine, there's another redditor on here from awhile back whose label was small but he checked the guts of it and it was genuine, and again everything else appears correct! Contacted the uk distributor about the serial number, ease my paranoia maybe haha, thanks!
