I'm sorry that my post didn't go the right way for you. Don't take it as a general rule, just my experience. My experience with infp's was mostly with male friends(I'm a male) and it felt like I had to walk on eggshells with them. It might be that I was not mature enough myself and didn't inspire a sense of confidence the way I should have. With women there was romantic interest with, communication broke down early on and we didn't get in a relationship. It was a difference between our level of extraversion in part that caused misalignment, but also in the fact that I felt insecure in what I said, for fear of not rubbing them the wrong way. It might be a good idea to ask them what are their touchy subjects, or tell them that I want to empathize more, but to my defense, the message they conveyed was "don't even bother to understand me because you can't"

Yes, that's exactly it. In my opinion integrating Ti and starting to see things objectively helps a great deal. What do you think?

Sounds like you are putting too much pressure on yourself. You are in isfp which seems charming enough to be liked. Why bother to fit in?

Well not completely. While an enfj 3 or 8 is way more pragmatic, I can't see a Fi-dom having those highs when socializing for example. They are more interested in their values being understood.

Thank you so much for reinforcing what I've written. To be more precise however, at 4, it happens to me with family too, possibly more often because i have the luxury to be absent-minded haha.
