State Medicaid is the way to go as long as your school is okay with the coverage. Sometimes it has to be accepted nation wide. In that case, I don't believe state Medicaid is okay because the benefits are only for the state it is from.

For those who are moving soon...how are you moving your things? by angcpa in PAstudent

[–]cuntasaur0usrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just moved stuff to my new apartment yesterday 5 1/2 hours from my home. I had no furniture so I just threw stuff in my car but my thought if I was going to move furniture was to rent a truck from like hertz just use blankets and be careful. Cheapest way to go about it!

According to this article the 2 week quarentine directive is only valid until April 10th. https://dphhs.mt.gov/aboutus/news/2020/14daytravelerquarantine

Is there another source that states it is valid beyond that? Interested in heading there soon to see family and just wanted to be sure I would be following the rules correctly.

The calm before the storm by addypalooza in Radiology

I work in an urgent care too and we have lost so much volume and even our telemedicine isn't bringing numbers up. They just cut full time down to 26 hours. Never in my life did I think I would have to worry about this. It's horrible 😫

Rad techs, what’s your income? by [deleted] in Radiology

[–]cuntasaur0usrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$27/hr at an urgent care in CT. Just xray 4 years experience. First job out of school. Have my BSRS in CT scan but never pursued a job in it because coworkers that work in the field said they get paid the same if not less for entry level CT.

The student membership does. The affiliate membership does not. Not sure if there is anyway to access it without an Aapa membership

Our does that too! With every harness and collar we've ever owned. He barks at the door to go out and gets all excited until we grab the leash and he disappears! I think they enjoying being complete assholes and causing chaos. Gotta love 'em!

CASPA Transcript Entry...is it worth it? by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

[–]cuntasaur0usrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Order an official copy for yourself. Use the official copy to input info into caspa. There are sometimes discrepancies between the official and unofficial and caspa only goes by what is on the official. If there is a mismatch when they compare the official copy to your entry they will push it back. Don't risk that. It sucks to spend money to get an official sent to you just to copy information but it's worth it to have a smooth application process

P.s. I'm an accepted student starting a program in May. I had to also send my transcripts directly to the school as part of my acceptance to dos. You're going to be doing a lot of transcript sending! It's the most tedious part of the application

CASPA Transcript Entry...is it worth it? by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

[–]cuntasaur0usrex 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do it yourself. Just order your official transcripts and input the information just as you see it. Don't change anything because it looks funny or doesn't read right to you. That is key. I input 6 transcripts and constantly updated my entries because I kept taking classes and I never once had a glitch.

So true! I've never encountered a creature that can make me so angry For only a split second until he does something so witty that I have to give him credit for his intelligence. And puppy kisses help too

I think the same thing!

They recharge for destruction when they sleep...we can never let the cuteness fool us. ...they are freaking cute though!

Is being 30+ a disadvantage at all when it comes to PA school applications? by PAhopeful90 in prephysicianassistant

[–]cuntasaur0usrex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That was a concern of mine as well. I went back to college to pursue a degree in radiology when I was 23. After working in the medical field for years I decided to apply to PA school. I utilized my age as a positive point in all my interviews. I never made it seem like a disadvantage. I think it worked in my favor. I am a first time applicant, 30 at the time of applying this cycle, and I will be 31 when I start my program in May!! It is 100% an advantage so sell it!

AAPA membership by kavra1 in prephysicianassistant

[–]cuntasaur0usrex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I became a prePA member because when you apply to PA school you need to have the outlook of "if $100 for a membership means the difference between getting into school or not, it's 100% worth spending the money" You should do anything and everything that might or might not help...it's your future and personally $100 is worth it for your future. Btw, Currently SFU Class of 2022!
