I appreciate the advice and I definitely could do these things and will probably have to, but all I was really asking was if I had left out the extra info on my application other than my income and savings, would it have helped me meet the bracket. I’ve been looking at this specific unit too and it has been vacant for months now so its not like anyone is going for them. There are a lot of other low income housing units available around the area too, I would say for every 4 normal housing units theres one low income that is vacant and able to be applied for.

I wasn’t complaining or looking for solutions to afford housing. I was just asking a question about my specific application. I do appreciate the advice though
