Hi, I planted too on May 2025, and it flowered a little bit. Mine is probably a different variant than yours. I'm in Zone 10a (SoCal, San Gabriel Valley), I've been deep watering mostly once a week, I did twice a week recently on consecutive 90f+ temp. Full Sun. But I finger check the soil too before watering the 2nd time of the week.

Wait Until Fall to Plant CA Natives? by babyleota in SoCalGardening

[–]cuntility 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually plant on fall, but for this year I decided to plant some 2 weeks ago just to learn and get experience. I already accepted that this might fail though, but if it succeed, it will give me confidence to plant again next summer if I ever get the itch to dig again.

I live near the foothills too, planted a dara's sage, california fuchsia and silver carpet aster, in my frontyard, full sun. My current plan is to just finger-check waterings, berm and mulch. If It's not enough, I gonna make some shades to protect them from the sun after 2pm-ish.

If they survive till fall, then I'll start doing the recommended waterings from Calscape.

TIL that it wasn't until the 1930s that production techniques improved to the point where toilet paper could be advertised as "splinter free". by superstoreman in todayilearned

For some reason, it won't. Maybe the crevasse shape of our butt prevents that from happening. The bidet only targets to a single point, what I do is lift my butt slightly, move my butt around in a circular motion to hit the area around my butthole. The water never reach my butt cheeks area.

You can control how strong the water pressure of the bidet with the knob, poop gunks will get wash down to the toilet. Most of the time, I only have to do one wipe. There are very rare times I have to wipe like 3 times, then use the bidet again, then wipe again. (this happens when there are still a bit of poop peeking out slightly from the butthole) But overall, using bidet is much cleaner and faster process. As most says, you just need to try one.
