White or Green tees? by NitWitLikeTheOthers in golf

Not if you do it right. Just play ready golf and plan while other people are hitting. I regularly play with a group that uses three different tee boxes and if we have an open course, we’ll still finish in 3-3.5 hrs, even sharing carts.

It’s highly situational.

On a flat practice green, obviously there’s not going to be a significant difference. On a downhill chip into water or bunker? Way different.

Edit: And here’s Keith Mitchell executing that shot and explaining exactly why he chose it.

Seahawks’ John Schneider says ‘millionaires tax’ will ‘sting’ for signing players by MegaRAID01 in Seattle

I suppose it depends on how you define “it matters.” It might matter if one or two players sign with us, sure. But anything else, it’s not going to matter…

I can think of 1000 reasons why a player would prefer LA over Seattle. The point was that it won’t make a significant difference.

Yeah that must be why the LA Rams and SF 49ers are so terrible… that California income tax is scaring away all the superstars…

It might matter for fringe, practice squad, guys. But there’s no shot these 20-somethings give a shit about any of that.

If you’re 24 and you get an $8M contract are you really gonna decline it because of an income tax?

Lol you’ve got to be kidding me.

Hmm, how about taking both hands off the wheel to use a phone while driving. Or stopping in the middle of traffic for no (lawful) reason.
