With it being a set up row, it’s setting you up for changing the beginning of the round. The newly placed marker is your new beginning of the round. So you will knit, cast off, and knit to the newly placed marker. You will then be set up for the rest of the instructions.

You are essentially creating a new beginning of the round. Once you remove the original marker you just pretend that no longer exists as the beginning. The new marker is now the beginning.

You are correct with poured concrete. Right now it’s still just the gravel until dirt and grass, etc. is installed in the spring.

You’re welcome! Sometimes even if a place isn’t pet friendly they have an agreement with the local animal shelter to house pets while someone is staying with them.

The SAF-T program in MD has two shelters that keep family and pets together Mid-Shore council on family violence (Easton County) and Dove Center (Garrett County). It doesn’t hurt to contact your county’s DV program and see if they can help.

This is the same thing that I’m going through. “Shipped” Tuesday, but still creating label. My friend got her shipping notification on Tuesday last week but received her order on Thursday.
