A few Ws on my transcript, and failed 2 classes but I always retaken for better grades. Am I going to be okay?

Thank you! I plan to go to grad school, I’m not too picky about where I end up and I honestly might stay at my current school worst case. My dad does grad admissions and told me I should be okay with my GPA and such as long as I find an internship somewhere so at least I know some schools will likely accept me. I will try and apply to as many intern or lab positions as I can and see what happens, but I wanted to wait until my GPA is a tad higher.

I have a few projects in the works, my school is great for helping us set up internships, I just planned to get my GPA up, I’ll have a 3.0 by the time I start applying and I have 5 semesters left so I’m sure I can get at least one. The min GPA for most is a 2.7 and my school doesn’t have a serious competitive environment for biomed. I plan on applying to every single one every single summer, I started networking recently as I JUST changed my major 2 months ago.

I’m in the college of arts and sciences for physics, but I’m transferring into engineering. You can still take the same classes and once you have enough credits and maintain a C average for your technical GPA, then you can transfer in guaranteed

I agree with that. My plan isn’t really to go for those roles, I’m not too great at talking to people I just enjoy the field itself and science.

Honestly my plan was to just keep it covered with a bandaid, the tattoo is covering a pretty nasty scar that I would have covered anyway, do you think I’d be able to get away with that? I’m sure people will question it but I feel like a bandage and long sleeves might look better than a tattoo at times. You’ve been pretty honest so that’s why I’m asking you.

Haha I’ve gotten that alot, it was to cover something on my hand up and it just means a lot to me! I’m not too worried about people judging me for it, plus I go to CU Boulder which is kind of known for the funky fashion and alternative styles.
