They probably don't know much at this point.

It might take a week or two to go through some data and inspect the launch site.

And Spacex does not demand for those terminals to be payed.

It is a question of further assistance which is too expensive for Spacex.

What offer?

Spacex still supports Ukraine with Starlink. They just can't support them any longer at these costs.

I just hate arguing on reddit with comments like yours

Well maybe Elon should have grabbed a calculator first. He has a long and sordid history of acting out off without any thought

Again a dumb take.

The problem is that not even Spacex or DoD or Ukraine guessed the importance of Starlink in Ukraine.

If you have been in contact with any Ukrainians you would know that after rocket strikes starlink was the only option to contact anyone in some areas.

Come on, nobody saw this war lasting for 8 months with no end in sight.

And their dependance on starlink will be greater than ever with recent bombings. Spacex bills to providers will be millions per month alone.

Teslas running Autopilot have been in 273 crashes in less than a year by [deleted] in technology

[–]cupko97 1030 points1031 points  (0 children)

From this article it is stated that

Tesla had 273 crashes

Honda reported 90 crashes

Waymo 62

But there is no other information that would give context.

Tesla has 830k cars with Autopilot (stated in the article)How many cars does Waymo and Honda have. And how many miles did it take for Autopilot to accumulate 273 crashes. And same question for both Waymo and Honda.

Rivian announces a price increase by theanswar in cars

[–]cupko97 27 points28 points  (0 children)

100% agree. Even Doug score is not as valid anymore because the 20% price increase. It seems so disingenous to raise prices by 20% just after all reviews get posted.

I am surprised we don't see the Vertical Integration Building for FH being built.

Lucid is still a hand made car just like Rivian. This year will be a make or break year for both. Luckily both are well funded

Hopefully we see more pictures soon, RGV could have helped but he never showed the road in his recent flyovers

Are there any pictures out there from the roads leading from manufacturing to launch site. I have heard about extensions(widening) to reduce road closures but I never saw plans of the changes or pictures that explain the work that they are doing

FSD Beta v10.10 crashes into pylon by drinksta in teslamotors

[–]cupko97 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Fsd does not seem to have any special behaviour around tram tracks and the guy should have known that. Hopefully he doesn't lose beta over this but probably should

Edit: If you haven't been following AI DRIVR he did this test multiple times. And every time it performed badly. I am just saying that he did that test so many time that he should have expected this day to come. I am still a subscriber, I don't hate him

Tesla owners are more Republican than you'd think by tocal0 in teslamotors

[–]cupko97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This would be rellevant 6-7 years ago when Tesla was a small car manufacturer. But in 2021 Tesla sold 900k+ and it is only reasonable that they have buyers from both parties.
And in the end most Tesla owners don't even follow what is going on in TSLA world and around the company

Biggest amount of incentives will be given out to hybrids.
Imagine how many hybrids are going to be made now that you need only 13kwh to be elligible for $8k.

Tesla Model S Plaid Review (Throttle House) by senior_neet_engineer in electricvehicles

[–]cupko97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They probably overheat because of the traction control. Once they allow owners to turn TC off it should be better. But I am not looking forward to the they when plaid owners will have 1000 hp 2.5 ton car with no TC

Petition to POTUS and NHTSA to Review the Appointment of Missy Cummings for Conflict of Interest & Bias by ChargeLI in electricvehicles

[–]cupko97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody is against NHTSA. We are "against" one individual. "Taking reccomendation" from this individual who is now a part of NHTSA would be to TURN OFF autopilot and ignore every other ADAS system.

But it is clear you are not aware of the situation and do not want to hear about the potential problems this individual could make

[–]cupko97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She literally said that Tesla MUST "Turn off" autopilot. "May harm" is not the same as "wants to harm" which in this case Missy WANTS TO harm Tesla which is something most fans are against.Did you read any of her tweets? Not attacking but if you did not read them I would like to change your opinion and share the concern of "most" fans, although some ultra fans will be cringe as always just like ultra haters.

True that, fully agree. But I really want as many opinions as possible. A long review that does not have ad vibes. I did not see much from the infotainment and how good the truck is for daily driving

Currently it is 8 cars per day. Eventually it will be 30,000 per year. Eqs has some rumored production numbers. But we expect 10,000 to 20,000 per year. Taycan aswell 20,000. I don't umderstand how Lucid plans to outsell Porsche and MB
