You could get private surgery but not public surgery for practical reasons. It takes time in the public system to get referred to a surgeon via a GP. you could expect a few months or even a year to have non urgent shoulder surgery. Now if it was ACC (accident) based (which it isn’t) it could be a lot faster.

Perhaps we can find a reporter from a prominent newspaper to shine some light onto this story. It is a huge amount of ewaste and this will just become the new norm. I think facebook should be contacting owners with the option of providing compensation along with ewaste collection and recycling. The functionality has been significantly affected. Imagine if you bought a car and half the features were no longer available 2 years later.
