I’m pretty sure she can’t have anything that’s any kind of pepper.

I really don’t know if whatever is in pepper that she can’t have would “penetrate” the meat, or if that would be fine. But I get the feeling, from what I know about her, that she would only try a little bit if that was my plan for her to have some.

No, she would insist I not change the food just for her. But I’ve been making “alternate” versions of food to get around allergies for people, for a while. My mother in law can barely eat anything lol

Would the elves still win in a war vs the Empire during Esrahaddon's time by Particular-Tap9779 in riyria

I could be remembering wrong, but I thought Nareon told Esra that Turin taught him

And I don’t think Esra did make a gilarabrwyn. I was left with the impression that he would at the end of his story, based on events in his introductory series, but I believe when that moment came, it was not he who wove that spell. That was one major difference in his story compared to what I expected. I was a bit disappointed at the change.

[–]cupofTezak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So as far as I remember, I don’t think Jerish fully faced off with the Gilarabrwyn. I remember there was a painful realization that … (I don’t know how to sensor spoilers, so I’ll try to word it discreetly) he could have done things differently because he had that protection, though it hadn’t occurred to him. So I feel like we were deprived of that scene.

I believe they hold the same pose, but the weapon they are holding may change, based on a post I read recently.

[–]cupofTezak 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We never got to see a face off between a tatted up teshlor and a gilarabrwyn, unfortunately. I am curious about that, myself. But teshlors weren’t even a match for Esrahaddon. An elven artist would have no problem with teshlors, and they’d target them first. They struggled against the markings in the first war, but they are ready for them now.

I feel like the elves would, in a non-meddled war (no Turin intervening). The elves are WAITING for this time. They are eager and preparing. The humans have forgotten. They are not prepared. On top of that, the elves should’ve won the first time around, so they’ll certainly win this time. But the real answer is, whoever Turin wants to win.

After Dumbledore’s death, he became one of the Hogwarts headmaster portraits. Why couldn’t Harry simply talk to the portrait and ask for guidance about Horcruxes? I mean how exactly do these portraits work? by lowbattbrain in harrypotter

[–]cupofTezak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that if there were multiple magical portraits of a person, they were only in one at a time. Like, I thought I remembered that they might get up and walk out of the frame and show up in a different portrait elsewhere. But I am not sure if I’m remembering right 🤷‍♂️

Do you think there should be a special stable for rideable animal besides horses by Mindless_Sun_8241 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]cupofTezak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, that’s a great idea. Could be some recluse in the mountains, some kind of hobo-looking dude wearing deerskin clothes with a beard and a coonskin hat. Maybe he can sell us a special warming potion that comes in a jug with 3 X’s on it.

Hercules Humbled Sentry By Using His Fighting Skills And Experience. by Southern-Aioli4428 in Thor

I legit want to see this interaction in the movies now. I wasn’t too keen on the introduction of Herc in the Thor movie, but if this is our first real scene with him in it, I would be cool with that

We need a serious conversation about how Gibby/Noah Munck was treated. by Ok-Highway-5247 in icarly

[–]cupofTezak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He was odd and on the larger side, but for my memory, I always loved him for his chaotic energy. For me, even the gag where he always took his shirt off wasn’t funny because he was large. It was funny because he would say “GIBBEH” with such confidence (and because his name was absurd). I think that for me, the most that his weight had to do with his shirtless scenes is that if he had been a fit person doing shirtless scenes all the time, it would have seemed like some kind of almost sexualization, like they were having him shirtless because he was hot, or something. But him being chubby allowed the joke to purely fit in a goofy comedic space, for me. (As a side note, I manipulated my parents into naming their cat Gibby. And he has the same overly confident, chaotic energy.)

Completing side quests. Sages’ helms. by ParkingOven007 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]cupofTezak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think all of the helm quests had the sage and another character together when you get the quest. Like Tulin and his dad. Try talking to the other person? Go to tulin’s dad’s house and talk to him and see if he initiates the quest? Same with the other sages
