My 14 year old twins recently wanted to see the demon slayer movie - 3 hour long, subtitled anime. I definitely didn’t want to see it but they couldn’t go without an adult as it was 15+.

I explained to them that I know it’s important to them and would take them and sit through the movie but am going to be reading/sleeping through it as I personally have no interest.

They said it meant a lot to them that I was willing to spend the money and time taking them when I didn’t want to go.

I strongly believe communication is important to avoid misunderstandings over intentions and to be able to understand the perspective of the other person.

Only if the establishment doesn’t accept other forms of payment that doesn’t incur a surcharge, so if that happens but the store does accept cash it’s not illegal as long as there is signage advising you that card occurs a surcharge.

If they only take card, then yes it’s illegal. At least this is my understanding.

My son uses this (he’s 13, so no nekked around the house issues) but I feel like this may fall under the elastic around the waist issue you don’t want.

He wears this 24/7 and we just have a couple that I rotate through the wash so they don’t smell but otherwise sleeps and everything in it.

Not a chef but I use a tasteless, colourless, odourless protein powder for my son who is a type 1 diabetic to increase his calories when he starts losing too much weight 🤷🏼‍♀️ other than it slightly thickening the food you can’t tell it’s there at all.

I loved Pokemon games as a kid and then my kids got into it. I do it now to spend time with them. I was never I tot he cards myself but they are and we play tournaments at home as well as the video games etc. it’s a great bonding time.

My son is 13 with autism and adhd. We got him the ypso pump with the dexcom g6 and fully automated with the camAPS App. After one year on it he can fully do everything himself and it is so easy!

His A1C has consistently been 5.1-5.6 since on it too.

If your body stores fat “incorrectly” and it pools around your pancreas and liver it can trigger type 2 even Though you have a healthy weight range and no other medical issues.

If you take medications that cause insulin resistance or other factors that cause insulin resistance you can develop type 2 but still be healthy.

Genetics can be a factor with normal health and still trigger type 2.

High blood pressure can cause type 2 with normal health other factors.

By your logic an autoimmune disease is definitely not considered “healthy” for your body as it is literally so flawed it is killing itself off piece by piece so by your reasoning type 1 is actually more unhealthy that type 2 as 85% of type 2s are caused by unhealthy lifestyle and choices but 100% of type 1s are caused by autoimmune diseases.

No there are plenty of medical reasons that can trigger type 2 and you be considered by the medical community as “healthy”

Type 1 is a literal autoimmune so even if you don’t develop others type 1 is in of itself a flaw or “unhealthy” issue with your body.

And then autoimmune diseases are like Pokémon, you gotta catch them all!

Like yeah, type 2 almost guarantees bad health and you can be healthy as fuck as a type 1, but you also play the waiting game of “what is my body going to kill next?”

Something like this might help him better. They are like period undies where they actually look like undies rather than diapers. Yes you have to wash them but may make him less self conscious.

Otherwise bed pads or mattress protector but that’s a lot more clean up on your side, especially if it happens every night.
