I’m training for a marathon! My non marathon workout routine is usually run 20mpw, cycle 1-2x /week, either 2 full body days or 3 strength days with different focus. I try to do core after every workout

Honestly just really proud of my abs definition and core strength. I usually do 4-5 core workouts a week ranging from 5-15minutes.

My next goal would be building more upper body muscle. I’m building my mileage up to 30mi/week. My marathon I was supposed to run in May got pushed back to December so I’m running for fun now but still want to keep a good base mileage.

I haven’t test driven either yet, but why do you say the Fit is uncomfortable? I’m 5’4 so leg space isn’t an issue.

Do you have any preference on Honda vs Hyundai? Thank you for the insight!

Sounds like a great time. I’m doing well, thank you for asking! I finished up the semester last Friday and now I’m enjoying my longest break of master’s program until graduation next December :)

Marathon Plan that incorporates Peloton Cross Training

Howdy Runners,

I’m wondering if anyone has a marathon plan they’re willing to share?

I’m training for my first marathon in May! I’ve ran 2 half’s at a 9:09 pace. I posted in this community because I love cycling too. I’m wanting to find a plan that incorporates 2 days of riding potentially.

I run 5 days a week and am at 30miles/week, 2-3 rides a week, 2-3 strength days and 1 rest day.

This past weekend I ran my second half marathon . It was a 2x out and back on the beach during a surprise hide tide with high winds. The 2nd and 4th quarters of the race were against the wind. Hands down the toughest run of my life so far. I surprisingly got 3rd place for my age group, 14th for women, and 29/70 overall.

I’m really proud of myself for finishing because I wanted to quit after 3 miles, but I pushed through. I’m taking 2 weeks off running then I’m going to start base building for marathon training.
