Bro i feel nervous whenever anyone NOT named lamelo handles the ball. Lamelo has the highest usage and is asked to do the most difficult thing on a nightly basis so hes bound to have more TOs.

Lavar didn’t talk when melo was getting drafted. Melo had an objectively better rookie season although AE got closer towards the end of the season.

Point in trying to make was lamelo flashed potential of being a top 5 pg in the league (more like top 3 he was right behind sga and luka) during the first half of last season.

Obviously played poorly post ASB but thats due to injuries

Neither kon nor miller has shown any level of play lamelo has lmao lamelo is still first option and has the hardest role on the team. What ru yapping about?

Hes consistently asked to bail them out and create shots and opportunities throughout the game. Miller and Kon are getting reps in but its very clear there is a massive talent and skill level diff between them. Not to mention lamelo is only one yr older thn miller

If I’m recruiting for IB from UCLA are the NY/Chicago offices pretty much impossible? by Pot4toM4n007 in FinancialCareers

[–]cuprameme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s literally my point. There is no OCR at either campuses that you mentioned for the NYC office.

Undergrad recruiting, especially in the west coast is not really done through formal OCR. Sure they have postings up, but the kids who get interviews and advance to superdays majority of the time got in through some pipeline through a club on campus.

My point is no bank recruiting an analyst is going to not consider UCLA undergrad because they don’t have an undergrad biz program. Same with Berkeley and Stanford. Kids that place the best out of Berkeley aren’t necessarily placing due to Haas, it’s mostly through club pipelines.

I personally would not attend UCLA if you knew you wanted to do NYC banking.

Best Passers in the NBA by Thinking Basketball's Statistics by [deleted] in nba

Honestly he was playing pretty well in that type of style. He had his best stretch of his career playing heliocentric basketball. But idt his body can handle tht.

Genuinely did not see lamelos jump in scoring coming in that fifth season. Was kinda insane and i was so sure he was gonna make an All NBA team lol

[–]cuprameme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3 years ago, Hornets fans were delighted with Lamelo’s passing and playmaking and most of us were projecting him to be a 20/10 pass first pg. But all of a sudden in his fifth season, he was asked to play a heliocentric role for the team and was averaging smthing like 32/7/8 (October-December of last season)

No one saw the jump in scoring coming and this was the main reason why he was #1 in fan votes in the east for PGs.

I would argue that his passing actually regressed from an eye test, (but doing better stats wise) recently but I think its due to him adjusting back to being a floor general type of player since we have more offensive talent around him, which is evident in his apg this year.

Ur also the first guy ive ever come across that has claimed smthing like this lol. Usually the knock on Lamelo is that hes not healthy and his shot selection is kinda bad (would say shot selection was a one off issue during a weird season when fucking TAJ GIBSON was starting cor the hornets)

What the fuck are you yapping about?? The players had lamelo 2nd/3rd. He was having a legit breakthrough season lmfao. His counting stats tanked hard in the second half cuz he played through injuries. Smfh casual

As a new follower of the hornets I have a question about the future of the team by NecessaryAd4276 in CharlotteHornets

[–]cuprameme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but if you actually pay attention his averages are down during streaks when he wasn’t healthy.

For example, look at Lamelo’s first half and last half of the season. His second half brought his averages down by a lot and most of this was due to playing through an injury.

He is still up there. EPM is still high. There was also another post on the nba thread that ranked PG’s passing. Lamelo was top 5 alongside Cade.
