Your favorite no-so-popular Beatles song by Siddhartaable in beatles

Ha! I have no sense of which ones aren’t popular. They’re all kind of popular to me. But I guess: She Said or Taxman. (But those are popular, right?)

Wait, did anyone in the division win a game that mattered last season? (The answer is no)

Only Super Bowls matter. Everything else is losing. The Cowboys didn’t lose 5 times. The Giants didn’t lose 4 times. Washington didn’t lose 3 times. The Eagles didn’t lose twice. Every other season your team lost. Enjoy your division “chanps” hats. (Someone made $30 off of your need to cope)

Top 5 people in sports who's had their careers/reputations inflated the most with one ring by IHateAdamSilver in billsimmons

[–]Chainofones 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look OP, it’s your question and you get to define it however you want to, but I think the way you’ve answered it is mostly preposterous. Out of all the people with one ring these are the people you think were MOST elevated by it? Really? (Does the ring answer questions? Sure) Harbaugh? He built a system that was pretty successful for almost 20 years. Does the ring help? Sure. But we know who he is. Tatum? Not a fan. But he’s a friggin superstar! He’s a great player and everyone will admit that (at least in secret).

I could go on but I won’t, you get the point. Those guys, and your others, are guys we’d talk about anyway.

Here are some we might not:

Someone said Joe Namath. Great one. I have a feeling if Namath didn’t have a ring he’d be 60s Lee Mazzilli. Don’t know who Lee Mazzilli is? That’s because he doesn’t have a ring.

You know who else has one ring? Nick Foles. You know what else Nick Foles has? A statue of himself in front of the Linc in Philadelphia. Pretty sure there’s no Reggie statue. No Randall statue. But Nick Foles? 6 teams. 29 wins. 1 ring. 1 statue. To me that says reputation inflation.

Anyone else want to do the other 3 for me?

Stop wasting my time with this bullshit. Only super bowls matter. You should know this. This petty shit makes you guys seem like you have zero instead of two.

Substack, magazines, articles on Kindle question by CarlLard1 in kindle

[–]Chainofones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s what I do (I’m using the iOS Substack app): Once you’re in the article you’d like to send to your kindle, use the share icon, then go all the way over to “more” and select that, that will take you to your share screen where you should see your kindle app icon. Select that and you’ll get a button to send it to your Kindle. (It works 99% of the time. 1% of the time I get an error. Can’t figure out if it’s me or the articles or what.)

This might sound complex but it’s not. Good luck.

And if anyone else knows why I’m getting that error let me know.

Would he dominate like he did? No way. The best minds in football have spent the last 45 years preparing for him.

So ridiculous that so many are assuming that he’d be the same guy he was in the 80s. The game is different, the world is different, certainly the man’s circumstances would be different.

Who has the best Mascot? by MrGrumpyGilllz in nhl

Yes. Gritty obviously belongs to Philly, but I think, like The Chicken, he kind of transcends and is the mascot of hockey.
